I'd say Rule 5 Draft
the 3 option where you can send a guy to the minors 3 times or something like that (I forget exactly what the circumstances are)
crowd add a few jerseys to them people for the home team and an occasional the other teams jersey, that'd make the crowd look more authentic and it'd be nice. I havent noticed jerseys yet but maybe its because I don't look real close.

That's option years....you get to shuttle that player back and forth for three seasons. Once you do that after his option years are depleted...to send him back down you must expose him to the waiver wire....another team can choose him...and you have the option of pulling him back at that point...but he must remain on your ML roster or be lost to the club who put the claim in.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

Fix the problems with all things mentioned in the work-around thread.

Then, think of adding some stuff.

We love the devs. But, please let us edit them. I don't want Chris OR Kolbe on my team.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

In RTTS, I would like to edit my player's appearance/stance/ and jersey number. I don't like picking a number in RTTS, sticking with it through ST, getting signed by the team to their minor league club, then have it changed to some number I didn't want because some pitcher is wearing number 11...

*40-man rosters of course, but that's not really important at the moment.

More hairstyles please, btw, I do like how deep the CAP is. It's beyond what I expected.

OF camera in RTTS needs some work, especially liners towards the gap. I find myself fighting the camera while running and it makes me take bad routes to the ball. It would help if the camera would zoom out a bit more.

*Waiver system.

*Options.

First name audio please .

Rookie drafting should be based on potential and these guys need to start off 1/3rd the overall ball at the very least to 5/8th the overall ball at best. There are top prospects in the game that are rated overall around the middle of the bar, i.e. Justin Upton, Chase Headley, etc. so I don't see why incoming rookies should be rated all-stars if Justin Upton of all prospects can't even get a rating near 3/4th.

More to come later. This is already a great game so there's not much for me to wish for.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

A lot of great ideas in here, many of which are on my wishlist as well. I would also like to see expanded career stats for multiple franchise seasons, create-a-team (or expansion mode for all my fellow former ASB players), more in-depth record book (for a game so stat driven in almost every other way, the record book is weak), rule-5 draft, some journeymen (non-roster invitees who seem to show up every spring and maybe eventually catch on somewhere), interactive mound visits, create a coach (or at least more detailed skill sets for current ones...that adjust as frnchise progresses), weather effects, and a CAP that so deep you say "why would I need to adjust THAT"...lol. I could probably go on, but I've rambled enough. I know some are nitpicky, but I'm a franchise junkie and the little things add to it.

...oh, and even though I kinda hate the song, I want "Sweet Caroline" in Fenway. (this is more of an aside, since I recall them saying they are looking for in stadium custom tracks in 09)

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

Didnt read entire thread so most are probaly repeats but anyway...

-Pitchers actually sitting in Bullpen

-40 man Rosters

-Rule 5 Draft

-Right Stick Fielding (Rip off 2ks lol)

-Custom Soundtracks (For walkups, homers etc, again like 2k)

-Dont make Generic Minor leaguers, just give them generic names

-WAY more sig styles and better player models.

Yeah thats what I was talking about, that should definitely be there if they add 40-man roster and waiver wire, it'd only make it better.

Another thing they should add is the ability to make a trade and possible throw a little cash in for cash considerations.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

This should be an easy one: round off the decimals properly. It's sort of annoying to see a guy who is 3/7 batting .428 instead of .429. Growing up with baseball and stats, some numbers just look "strange" to me. Nit picky, yes, but I can't see why that would be hard at all to fix. Rick

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

1 out 100 baseball fans understand the Rule 5 draft and you guys want it in the game? I would certainly find it fun, but most of the people playing would be lost. Same with option years, to a certain extent.

I'd like to see some type of online competitions you could take your RTTS player to. Something where he can compete against other RTTS players.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

batting practice mode, fielding practice mode(learn a new position), Home run distance records per stadium for franchise, more stadium specific stuff(splash hits, fireworks, mascots).

Great game so far. First year with the show. Thank you Chris and Kolbe. Awesome Job.
