I only have a few problems with the game.

1. Free agency is terrible. There are not enough good players in the free agent pools.

2. Is there some reason we can't have more of the minor league players in the game?

3. 40 man rosters please.

4. Weather in the game please.

5. More extra base hits please.

6. In season trades where we don't have to trade the same number of players. And let us be able to trade more than three players at once please.

The fielders seem to cut the ball off way too easy!

This really makes the game more boring for me.

When i create players from the past there's one thing missing.
An opportunity to put in their lifetime stats.

If Roberto Clemente would have lived where would his lifetime stats be today?
It would be cool to start where Clemente left off.

Where would Ted Williams stats be if he didn't miss all those seasons during the war?

I have a pet-peeve request
When I play RTTS mode, all of the minor league players have really fake names
like Derek Jakanobowitz, or Tre Bohansen....wtf??
and every asain player's name doesnt have to be Kobyashi..
Can we get some real names this year???

Ya it does. And the Buck Martinez says in the 7th inning after I have singled the team to death that my players didn't eat their Wheaties.

This is my big hope also... They have been saying for the past few years maybe next year.. Well it is next year again. There must be a bunch of Cub fans working there.

There is a lot of things i hope to see in MLB 09 The Show but 2 of the most important things are "much improved fielding" and "more extra base hits"!!

The fielding in 07 and 08 need to be improved giving the users more control over the fielders.

A good example of the bad fielding was when I had 2 outs runner on first base and the ball was hit to second basemen I tried to flip to second for the force but for some dumb reason the CPU would not let me flip to second for the final out so both runners ended up being safe. The CPU wanted me to get the final out at first. This happens all the time and I hate it !

Another example of poor fielding if a ball is hit into say right field there is no way I can pick the ball up and make a snap throw to first. In real life a right fielder can and has thrown out the runner at first sometimes. This will never happen in the show until its fixed!

I want 100% full control over all my fielders! It should be up to the user which base to throw to. I will be VERY disappointed if this is not fixed for 09.

And why does every fielder seem to have the same throwing speed? Where are weak arms and gun arms?


And as far as extra base hits where are they?

Something like 90% of my hits a singles up the middle. I get some doubles at times but forget about any triples. I get triples once in a blue moon. Where are the gappers?

This makes playing MLB The Show very boring at times.

There is nothing more fun then running around the bases for a triple.

Sony if you can fix these 2 issues MLB The Show would be ten times more fun to play!!!

Players like Jimmy Rollins should get more triples in the game! Now sure I can understand players like Pat Burrell hardly ever get triples. But MLB The Show needs to fix these things!

I know this may look like I am just ranting but trust me I know what I am talking about and I am just trying to help Sony make MLB The Show a much more fun game of baseball!

I have been playing baseball video games just about my whole life going back even to Hard Ball on the Commodore 64. And I dream of the day where we have the perfect baseball video game!

I believe SONY is closest to giving us that.

This game is great but there is a few things that it needs.

1.Control all teams

2. More equipment (red gloves, two-colored bats)

3. Empty seats example Pitt, Florida

4. fans leaving early, I think they had this in High Heat in 1998.

5. Ability to edit the manager or even the coaches. Example the Mets last year.

6. September call-ups.

7.Single A teams

8. not having everyone where long sleeves in night games.

9. Mullets ( We ned more mullets)

Look forward to 09
