Uses sliders and analog stick manipulation to position hands, arms, elbows, feet, etc., as well as ability to select different types of bat movement and leg kicks.) Stadiums • Ball boys that chase after foul balls. • Bullpens with players in them during the game, not just while warming up. • Future Stadiums for teams that have them approved. (Could possibly be a download option.) • Real Spring Training Stadiums. (Current ones just don’t have the same feel as the real thing.) • As many real minor league parks as you can get. Franchise • 40 man rosters. (Spring Training is pretty useless without them.) • All-Star Break with all events. (Futures Game, Home Run Derby, ASG) • Real Salaries. (Or the ability to edit players salaries.) • Ballpark Creator (Ability to create and move in right away AND the ability to NOT just create then move into. Have to be able to secure funding, and then set a future date for it to be opened.) • Single A minor leagues. • Real minor leaguers with fake names. Controls • Analog batting (Just like MVP 07. Pull back and the player begins his step, release and he goes back to his stance, or pull back and push forward to take a full swing.)

This isnt bad...however....

1. Please God dont add analog hitting like MVP or 2K unless it is just an option and you keep zone hittng with the left analog

2. The thing i want the most is make the minor league players based on real people and make it easier to edit them...this is the only thing 2k has down right

3. Allow us full control in a franchise to edit other teams lineups and rosters at anytime

4. Put in an animation for the player to lean into the stands and take a foul pop up out of the stands

5. For guess pitching...make seperate options to turn on or off guess pitch or guess location.

I think the big push should be to tighten up the sig stances and windups, as far as all the customization of players that was discussed before...that would be nice...but not a priority

100 times agree if Sony adds analog hitting PLEASE let it just be an option!!!!


I do not like analog hitting and would never want to use it!

ok....the most important thing they need to do is this....

DONT LISTEN TO US.....this is how 2K messed up. All the things we are talking about are nice....but not at the price of anything already in the game. It should only add on to the game....Please dont sacrifice something for ANY of the innovations.

I actually would love a hit stick method. Mvp Ncaa's hit stick was awesome IMO. If they could implement that and even a new pitching method I think that would be great. Ofcourse have options for other methods to please everyone.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it...but I would love the game to take advantage of the PSeye camera, like Burnout Paradise does.....

a short clip/or pic.... of the other person after a crucial home run or strike out....lol

Here is a simple request for next year. How about the ability to put the camera height as high as the stadium when in replay mode? I hate how you can attach to the ball but once it gets to the fence you can't see it anymore and this is due to the "ground" level view that seems to be the only option.

- Separate Durability and Day-to-day Stamina rating. Just because someone is injury-prone doesn't mean they need more days off while they are healthy. Obviously, tone down position player fatigue in general.

- Drafted rookies are AWFUL. What's the point of having all of these minor league levels if everyone drafted in the 1st and 2nd round is major league ready. A lot are even ready for the ML All-Star game.

- If you nibble at the corners and you miss your spot on the meter, the ball should trend out of the strike zone most of the time. This would increase walks. The CPU doesn't swing at many of the pitches you "miss" by throwing down the middle anyway.

- Redo trading AI. I shouldn't be able to trade Yuniesky Betancourt for Chase Utley.

i know it's never been done in a sports game, but i'd like a trading block where i can ask for prospects or vice versa like in real life.
already most franchise modes put a higher value on young guys over old.
so instead of asking for a specific position, i want to be ask for someone under 24, with a potential of A.
most trades in real life baseball is between a soon-to-be FAs and prospects.

and how come no other sports game has been able to put in a search function like Winning Eleven/Pro evol. soccer? Is that such a difficult thing to put in?

being able to search by pos. age, specific attribs, AND potential ratings, would help guys like me who play poor teams like the Pirates a lot of time.

* in franchise mode-the ability to choose both team's jerseys
* Custom music for stadiums, batters, and certain in game scenerios.
* Please do that thread where people can put there real names in the game,no one ever says my first and last name.

For me, keep the solid gameplay and add these things and I'll be preordering 09 tommorrow!

Here are some more:

Trading/Contracts:
• Multiple team trades.
• Uneven trades.
• Perks in contract nogotians. (Bonuses for milestones, mvp and all-star votes, etc.)

Player Portraits/Uniforms:
• Photoshoped images of every player in every uniform. (If someone chages teams, their photo gets updated for their new team.)
• Created players portraits shown in team uniform in menus. (Currently they are in free agent uniforms in menus and only in team uniforms while playing the game.)
• Show players in team uniforms when editing them. (Currently every player is shown in the free agent uniform)
