Here's my major ask for personlization ... you've got stances down, but no swings. Guys like Dustin Pedroia with that two handed uppercut where he swings for the fences. Ichiro and his running start that I've seen in other games. Jason Bay's wristy two-handed follow through, or how Beltran always finishes across his back. This would be HUGE ... and it's not just home run celebrations, it's every pitch.

As for that animation when you swing at the inside pitch and end up like a pretzel ... get rid of it!! Plenty of big league hitters can keep their hands inside the baseball and pull a ball off the inside corner.

Think about all the at bats in a game and how that pitcher/batter view makes up the majority of your gametime. If each at bat felt completely different based on plate approach and swing animations - not just their pre-swing setup - ... wow.

Fix the strikezone, it extends to high. No ump in real life calls strikes that high very often.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

Hey you guys, I would love to see in MLB09 The Show for the PS3. Like the 40 Man Roster and the Weather (rain dely or rainouts... etc, etc) that would be really awesome!

Thanks,

RJ

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

Batting cages or some sort of hitting drill mini-game to keep my bat tuned. I play in online leagues at a high level with friends from another forum. My problem is that I will play this game non-stop for the first month and tune my hitting in easily. Then I'll stop playing as much and only play for my league games etc. Causing me to go from about 10-15 games/ week down to around 2-3.

It's impossible to stayed tuned, hitting wise. So a batting cage with different pitchers to hit off is my wish list entirely. Box the game up with a roster update and batting cage and I'd buy it.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

I just want to stress that I want the sliders to have a bigger impact, particularly pitch speed. Pitch speed is just too fast for my liking and I would like it slower. The slider doesn't help much. In all honesty, I haven't played this game in awhile and my frustration with this has been a large part of it, even before NCAA came out. If next year's game doesn't allow me to fine-tune the pitch speed to where I want I simply won't buy the game. I'll just stick with '08.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

There are several things I would like to see.Road To The Show-This game mode as such potential to go above and beyond the experiences provided by any other baseball game. I would love to see things like batting practice added, and maybe have the BP affect your hitting stats too.I would also like to see added some off the field experiences and choices for your payer, have him be able to have the ability to buy things with the career money he earns. Give him the option to say go out partying with his teammates after the game and have the consequences of that affect his play the next day.I also would like to see fixed within RTTS some of the in-game secnarios you get put in,like say for example I have a First baseman, and in his next defensive play the batter lines a base hit into Left Field that no one in the infield can stop, why was that even in my next appearance? Nothing I could do about that. Also it is really frustruating to get on base and watch the next guy foul off like 9 or 10 pitches, not to mention a bit boring.Rest of the game- Improve the Franchise mode for PSP.- Also don't let 2K sports be the only one to do this next year, put in the world Baseball Classic game mode.-Get rid of the King of the Diamond aracde mode,it looks too childish for a game like this, not to mention it loses any fun after a while.
