People make bad throws all the time in the mlb. This really isn't much of a problem.

I don't know if this has been said or not but i would love to see create a team, just like the asb game. They could even come up with a cool saying like" This Year You Are The Show". Other then that i would love to see day to night games, weather(you should be able to play in it too, i want to see games played in rain.) And maybe some more options with accessories.

Not as many times as they do in the show.

Looks like you have a history, Mike. Regardless, I agree 100% with you. There are far too many of these in the game. I've seen maybe one bobble by an infielder in my first 80 game and at least one/two high throws at first a game. It needs to be addressed. Nothing wrong with saying that.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

okay so this time when I sent stuff to scea I got replies. Here they are.

(Q) I wonder if SCEA boys would consider throwing the retired number fix in with the next patch (if there is one). Seems like all they would have to do is lift the check they have in the editor. Let us number guys anyway we want...and maybe now they'll see how important it is for historic teams.

Would also like to see arm bands for mother/fathers day.

RTTS

Do drills when you create your player like in Madden and then get drafted

(A) Do you mean how you can't use retired numbers? If I understand the question, it's disallowed because it wouldn't be allowed in real life.

I can see that you might want to recreate an old player - in that case it's up to the group that works on this feature to make a solution. I wish they'd find a better way, but they're prioritizing what they work on. The bottom line is I don't think anyone would want a feature like next year's RTTS to be compromised because of hundreds of issues like this. Because there are literally hundreds of requests like this. =)

Yes, weather and dynamic shadows would be great. Most of these I've talked with Graphics and other devs with a few months back, and they've prioritized what they'll try. Every year I suggest we hire another graphics programmer, but it's easier said than done. You can go through a hundred resumes and not find the right person to help out.

In game development, hiring the wrong person actually slows us down.. =( That said, the graphics programmers we have are very good, but they have to prioritize their time and move from task to task.

We are going to see slider improvements next year, but we'll have a chance to announce more details as we have a clear picture of what will happen.

On trade logic
I've suggested these for several years, but it's not my call. I did have a tester document bad trades and send it to the developer involved, but that programmer has to balance trades with a dozen other responsibilities including parts of RTTS. I don't think the game would have ended up as good if we didn't improve RTTS but fixed trades. =P

I guess we should just be happy if they DON'T fix the work around
