Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

-i wish we could have import a franchise such as if the creators of the game posted a franchise that could be downloaded that mirrors the real franchises so at the ASG we could take the exact stats and standings and start the frachise right there.
  • for example teams such as the tampa bay rays always end up in last place in franchise modes it would be cool if we were able to take charge of the rays and continue the dream season and guide them to the playoffs
Would be cool for all sports games not just the show

-also i enjoyed the classic scenarios that were available in what i think was all star baseball 2k3 for the gamecube i may be wrong but it was the year after lowe threw the no hitter against the devil rays and we had to break up the no no in teh 9th those are always fun to take part in.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

Haven't read the whole thread. I'm sure this has been covered.

1. Reliever usage still largely blows.

Too many games with the starter throwing 5+ innings followed by the long reliever taking it to the end. This would be fine if it was a blow out or something, but this happens in 1-2 run games. Set-up relievers rarely get used when the AI is behind in a game. That's silly.

Manager AI still generally sucks all around, but it's particularly bad when it comes to the relievers. I still see the same pattern of relievers used every game no matter what the situation.

2. Tone down the effect of confidence. It was particularly bad in 07 and a tad better in 08, but it's still too heavy handed.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

This game gets bored after a while with the same hits and doubles/ scenes so if is possible

- More Hits/Bloopers.. balls that get to the wall
- Less Foul Balls
-Ball boys that chase after foul balls. Bullpens with players in them during the game, not just while warming up
-All-Star Break with all events
-In RTTS If your are a catcher u should call the pitches. Also aby other positions there should be more action not juss catching a pop up include more situations like more runners tagging and other situations
- Weather (Rain , Drizzles, Lighting thunderstorm) This can add more realistic to the game not juss a perfect day at the ballpark with the sun all the time. Also if possible rain delays and double headers.
-Open or closed staduim option
-catchers tossing their masks
-Batting practice
-Ball boys and Ball girls
-Fans and vender's walking up and down the steps during pitches

-Like Statnut in rtts players get drafted
- Players diving into stands getting foul balls
-day/night progression

I hope at least you include weather and half of these to make a better game and more enjoy able

Please do not take away the foul balls. I absolutely love the 10 pitch at bats. The accurate pitch counts, it is baseball heaven. The foul balls are very important for accurate stats.

I couldn't agree more.

Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

Uniform/stadium select in Franchise/RTTS would just about clinch it for me.

I also have an issue with the OF diving when I'm trying to command my IF to do it. The result can be my OF on the ground as a slow rolling ball goes to the wall.

Like to see more catch errors -- slider doesn't seem to work. More dives and misses. More doubles. Hits down either line should be XBHs 90+% of the time.

I know there's a work around, but I'd like to override the retired numbers if possible.

I'm also seeing a lot of high ERAs from my competition in Franchise -- like 6.50+ on four out of the five opposing starters.

It's sceamlbfeedback@gmail.com I believe. I've actually been sending them all of the things out of this thread.

As I say every year. Get the friggin alternate unis correct for ALL the teams especially Oakland, Atlanta, and Texas.. Allow us to pick the jerseys instead of the CPU randomly picking it for us in franchise or season mode.

This is one that gets to me almost every game. There will be a guy on 2nd and a hard hit grounder to RF. Instead of the RF'er getting the ball and coming up and throwing to home quickly, he'll come up throwing slow (ie: the animations are slow....not the throw). Almost like there isn't code to decipher when a fielder needs to make a play on a runner and when they're just tossing it back to the infield.

Same thing applies on flyballs. Guy on 3B and a flyball out to my CF. I'll often see the CF catch the ball and then go through a long animation before throwing home. By that time, it's too late.

I preload each throw as well so that's not the issue.
