**MLB 08: The Show (All versions) Bugs/Glitches Thread**

you guys know that the game isn't offically released yet, right? though this is a huge bug and i'm not defending them in anyway..but the game is released till 3/4, so a patch could already be done for wednesday..about half the games i buy, even on day one now require a downloadable update, which most of the time have bug fixes found after the master copy of the game has gone to the plant (gone gold)...let's just hope this is the case

Based on the support received last year, there is no reason to believe that a patch is on the way soon. It's a nice thought, but my educated guess is that it's wishful thinking.

The thing that kills me is that we have an 8 page thread and their are what 3 bugs mentioned. hahahahahahaha

This game must be just short of perfect if all we can find is 3 bugs. They all happen on very rare occasions.

I want to know if anyone has found a REAL bug that affects the way the game plays, not the way the game keeps stats.
Is there a bug that should keep people from actually buying the game, not just worrying that "my guy only went 3/4 instead of 4/5.

Now I don't want to get flamed for this, as I know the stats are very important to some, but to me a bug is something like the Madden Fumble bug where every other time you got hit you would fumble.

So are there any of these kind of gameplay bugs or is this a very solid game?

I think its a extremely solid game. I have yet to find any "bugs" in the actual gameplay and I have not through 5 games, seen any of the stats bugs, but I haven't hit a walk-off homer either.

And that's why people shouldn't worry TOO much. The walk off homers are rare.

Would you feel the same if Madden only counted field goals as 2 points? Or maybe your stud running back only being credited with 75 yards instead of 110?

I'd feel the same if they counted FG's as 2 points if I kicked one to end the game when the score was 21-20.

Oh no, the one time a year I hit a walkoff homer with someone on base they'll miss one run. Oh man that's such a gamekiller

I get what you are saying Sox, but its not like this happens all the time. And I for one have still not seen it.

I really wish the Bugs/Glitches thread were solely for posting bugs/glitches, not for individuals to post comments over and over harping on them.
