This seems to be a much bigger issue than the HR bug. The latter is a minor annoyance but the former could be a game killer for any stats freaks.

I am getting the game wed when i get paid and I'll lget the game and the PS3 system. I have to admit if the stat tracking is off that will bother me. Not nec. the final score after a walk off but if my player is not credited w/ the right amount of RBI or the win totals are off that will bother me. A game killer? I don't know depends on the amount of times that it happens. It has always bothered me that the blown save doesn't register right. Is it impossible to produce the "perfect bug free game"? Are our expectations to high? Maybe, but counting the system and the game I will be spending about $500 and I think that the box scores should be accurate. Of course the saved boxscores was one of the things I was most excited about. Of course this may be a moot point as it may not show up on the season mode or may be easily fixed w/ a patch. I will be eagerly awaiting wed to find out.

Well the freezing thing has not happened to me again...and I am on game # 15.....As for the scoring bug- It happened with me with Travis Hafner last night. The bottom of the 9th and he hit triple with bases loaded and only got credited with 1 RBI......I should have gotten three rbi's....I hope this is not every game....and yes I am in season mode...I can't keep this game if it is not going to correctly keep stats....I will trade it in and look towards MLB 2K8 for my 360- at least that series never had this bug......The Show is amazing in all other aspects of the game- but to me this is a game killer not keeping proper- correct- stats! I noticed the 2 pitchers both getting wins in a game???? what the heck is that? and the annoucers are off on some stuff...what are you going to? Either deal- hope for a patch- or get 2k8.

Very, very true. BUT, in a world of next gen consoles with hard drives and wireless internet, it can be very frustrating when they don't patch issues like this. And in my opinion, this will not be an issue that gets patched when maybe it should. We put alot of money toward these games for them to not be supported after release. For me, that's the most frustrating part.

SO it is in season and its not just with walkoff homers now its with any game winning rbi hits. WOW I seriously am contemplating buying it untill I hear of a patch. All they had to do is use last years engine for scoring.

I do NOT have the game yet so please confirm this. In Season or Franchise: when the box score shows two pitchers with a W, does it show that in your season stats or is it just a stat overlay issue? Thanks

Now...wait a minute. I know the deal with walkoff homeruns, and that scoring is incorrect. But on any normal hit that scores a winning run, isn't it only the winning one that's counted? All baseball video games end as soon as that winning run crosses the plate (even mid-play) and I thought real games end like that too.

Saw that error with the pitchers in my season It does not happen all the time thank God- but it does happen...

You are correct, sir. Counting all runners on base only applies to HRs, and this is clearly stated in the official rulebook. On any other type of hit, once the winning run crosses the plate, the game is over.

Actually they patched a lot of major issues last year. I think if they can figure out the problem, they will fix it with a patch. I'd almost guarantee it.
