Don't know if this has been mentioned ...

Seems to me to be WAY, WAY too many bunts that turn into hits. Both by me and the CPU. About once a game, someone lays down what is intended to be a sacrifice, and they beat it out for a single.

I've had pitchers get bunt singles numerous times.

I've gotten a ton of bunt base hits in only a couple of games.

I know I've seen this mentioned somewhere before, not sure if it was in this thread though and I really don't care to read 58 pages. But I was playing my A's Franchise, when Mike Sweeney hit his 200th career home run. It popped up a overlay about it and the announcers mentioned it and then a batter or two latter the game resets to the PS3 dashboard. Guess I need to start taking advantage of the In-Game saves alot more.

Found another one while I was playing my A's franchise. Playing the Red Sox, top of the 8th 1-1. It shows Coco Crisp coming into to pinch hit, then it shows a cutscene of Coco pinch running at first. After that it just showed a zoomed image of the grass. Nothing I tried would resume the game. I tried going to the save/quit and it was grayed out. It would only allow me to quit. It did allow me to skip forward to the next half inning but it showed that the Sox had scored 5 runs.

Not a deal breaker but overall ruined a very good intense pitching matchup I had going.

Jesus the Show has alot of bugs, no wonder you Show Fanboys stopped coming to 2k to brag about the "Great Show", you were all in here listing what was wrong, 58 pages in this thread!! . This has probably been mentioned, but the umpire does not say "strike 3" ever or "strike 3 your out" on strikeouts.

PS3 system: Have not reviewed every single post here but wanted to provide my input.

1. After hitting a homerun, "Homerun Padres" remains at the top of the screen (top middle) for the remainder of the game. Has happened once so far.
2. After returning to a game (saved as "ingame") there is no sound when the ball hits the catcher's glove (during pitches). Happens every time I start an "ingame" saved game.
3. Opposing team hit a line shot right up the third base line (past third base into left field) and the announcer called it a foul ball (and therefore I assumed it was) but the batter ended up running around the bases (was almost all the way to third before I realized what was happening) and ended up getting a triple.

These small complaints/glitches aside, this game has my vote for console sports game of the year. Best console sports game I have ever played. Well done SCEA
