Wow, a couple of these bugs are concerning. Let's hope they address it quickly.

You have got to be kidding me...nobody caught this when testing the game even though it was caught by people who purchased it within the first few hours?!? We're not talking about a minor bug here if the game can't keep score! If it's just a box score glitch at the end of the game that doesn't affect individual player stats, I guess I could live with it (even though it may ruin the whole feature of being able to look back through the box scores for past games), but otherwise this is completely inexcusable IMO.

Baseball is such a heavy stat oriented sport. A $60 baseball sim that doesn't keep stats properly is useless to me. I am hoping someone here will clarify if this is the case.

to me, it do not seem like a game killer. It may/will reflect in the season stats. However, how often does a walk-off homer, take place. persepective.

Yeah that doesn't seem right at all. Who knows maybe they did know about it and couldn't get a simple work around.. I know thats dumb but who knows.

Also has this been seen during franchise games or just exhibition? Wonder if there is a difference.

Yes, sort of a pain in the butt, but you're right. It doesn't happen that frequently. Aren't there amazing things that are being told about this game/gameplay so far? I'm drooling to get the game listening to all this. If this doesn't get fixed with a patch, because it will happen so infrequently I can surely live with it.

I will say not catching it is kind of weak....
But since it's just walk-offs....I'm not going to go nuts...sucks but certainly no "game killer"(I hate that term )...IMO

WoW this really sucks!

I was hoping this bug was only in the demo.

This means lets say the score is 0-0 in the bottom of the 9th and I hit a game winning grand slam home run the final score will be 1-0?


And how in the would can both starting pitchers get the win? Thats just crazy

These 2 bugs are really going to ruin it for people who care a lot about there stats in season mode. Like me



I wonder if these 2 bugs can be fixed in an update or do we have to wait for MLB The Show 09?

Guys... and this is just my humble opinion...

Once you get your hands on this game... if this is something that really gets to you to the point where you'd put this game down... you can't be pleased.

I think people are harping on this a little too much. There's so much good in the game.... just wait until you see for yourself. I agree I wish it wasn't there (haven't seen it myself) but... from the looks of it, it is.

Just my take. Obviously not going to change anyone's mind but there it is anyway.

Gotta agree Pared. It will happen so infrequently that it shouldn't mess up the enjoyment of what is being posted here.
