Re: Official Bugs And Glitches Thread.

Every time I think of Robin Ventura I cant help but picture in my mind the time Nolan Ryan had him in a head lock pounding away.

It's most certainly a bug. When the batter crosses home plate, it counts. The ONLY time they do not count ALL runners on a walk-off HR is if they don't make it all the way around, such as when the team mobbed Ventura. But since there is no mobbing in the game, then it's quite obviously a bug.

Right... and if the guy who hit the walk off HR never crossed home plate, he would only be credited with a single.

Can you stop with this crusade already? You are totally wrong. 100% wrong. This is a bug in the game, and it needs to be fixed.

All the runs count on walkoff HR's, period. End of story, that has been the rule since Babe Ruth was playing.

The ONLY reason Robin Ventura's Grand Slam went down as a single was because his teammates ran out onto the field and mobbed him before he had a chance to go around the bases. He never made it to 2B, so it went down as a single and only the one run counted.

Re: Official Bugs And Glitches Thread.

Wow...that one would BLOW...big time.
Let's hope they can address this...QUICKLY.
If it's not an isolated incident(but being in the demo make me have big time doubts on that)....How the heck do they let that get through?

Re: Official Bugs And Glitches Thread.

To me it just doesnt make sense people that work on a game all year that was already near perfect in the previous version and they say they test for bugs and shoot for 100 percent realism. Your tellin me they never had a test game with a walkoff homer and that wouldnt throw up a red flag. I dont get it at all. From EA i would expect it cuz their good at downgrading previous versions, but these guys seem to work too hard on their product. Still praying its not true.
