**MLB 08: The Show (All versions) Bugs/Glitches Thread**

Here's a glitch/bug that has been removed:

Last year in 07 for the PS3 whenever you added a commentary name to a player who was added in the game through the online roster updates there face would tun into a kind of ghost face.

To see if the glitch is still there i downloaded the updated and added the commentary name "Paul" to Josh Paul of the Tampa bay Rays who was just added on yesterdays update. I tried a game with the Rays to see if the glitch was still there and low and behold it's gone.

Soft Crash with my fielder running towards home in RTTS

Once, RTTS, HOF

Select RTTS
Create a Third baseman
Advance to Spring Training
Advance to next Apperance.

the following will occur:
When on defense during a bunting situation, the third baseman (you) will jog towards home and end up off camera, user will be unable to continue game play, and or pause the game.

RTTS should work correctly in buting situations when choosing to play as a third baseman

Was last year's game this buggy? I don't remember it being that way. None of these bugs are of the so-called "game-killer" variety, but I'd be lying if I said that the number of reported bugs has not dampened my enthusiasm towards the game. I'll get to see for myself soon enough...

Is Sony SD planning on fixing these listed bugs/ issues.

Minor one:

Playing against the Brewers, Sheets goes 8 innings, Turnbow comes in and gets an out in the 9th before Gagne closes it out. In the box score, Turnbow isn't listed. It has Sheets with 8 innings and Gagne with .2, but no mention of Turnbow.

If that's like the problem with a closing pitcher not being listed, it's just a clerical error with the boxscore. The totals should still read correctly, it's just missing the line for one pitcher. The stats are still being tracked, and should show up in the player's season stats (if it was a season game). This was proved with cowboy's Cubs v. Reds video which showed Cordero closing out a game but not being mentioned in the Box. He later said that the game did indeed count that save because he looked at the save before it (save #10)and the one after (12).

ROFL!! I just had a "funny" glitch... Luke Scott came in as a PH in my first franchise game.. In his next at bat, he turns into a lefty hitting Jay Payton -- uniform number, appearance, everything...

(must have occurred when I switched their positions in the OF- I used Scott to PH for Jones, then flopped Payton and Scott in the OF)..

I may be wrong on this, but I think I found a stat glitch for at least one game. I'm a closer in rtts and I had 2 outs and induced an easy grounder to SS that would have ended the game with guys on 1st and 3rd and he threw the ball away. I ended up losing the game and got credited with giving up 4 ER. I would think all of those should be un-earned correct?

Pirates (me) vs. Washington @ PNC Park. I hit a double in the gap with Jason Bay and it goes into the triangle out in centerfield. The CF for Washington is going after the ball, runs into the fence, and just keeps "Mario running" against the fence. By the time the LF comes and picks up the ball, Bay has an inside the park HR.

Another non-issue graphics bug. In RTTS, man on 2nd and 3rd. I hit a double to score both. Cutscene goes into the dugout to show both players being congratulated by none other than ME, who is also standing on 2nd base.
