Any CPU vs CPU "Watchers" Like Me Out There?

This game is so great that you don't even need to play it. Hah!!! I'm having a blast just picking a team and then actually watching their games on CPU vs CPU mode. I simply grab a beverage and sit back and watch the whole friggin' game. I don't even manage the game. I let the AI play itself. I know this sounds crazy but I want to play out an entire season/franchise this way. The only problem is that I am getting way too many hits and not so accurate stats. I am a big stat guy, so I have to have things almost perfect. I am currently just playing on the default sliders on Veteran difficulty. I was hoping someone could recommend me some good CPU vs CPU sliders, if they even exist. If not, what regular slider set might you recommend for the CPU to play itself so I would generate somewhat accurate scores and stats? There seems to be a lot of good slider sets out there, just none that exactly cater to what I'm looking for. I'm up for any and all suggestions to help me get my franchise up and running. I look forward to your feedback.

Thanks for your time!

No you're not the only one. In the past I've always watched the allstar game during my season. (I'll do this again this year too)

But I DL'ed a baseball scorekeeping app on my iphone and actually watch and score certain cpu vs cpu games LOL!

Sometimes when I am tired I will lay on the couch, and just watch how th game unfolds between 2 cpu teams. I get to see alot of things in those games I might not see in my own due to my poor hitting level.

It's just a nice way to enjoy the total beauty of the game while relaxing.

I found that my sliders work decently, but up the Strike Frequency to maybe 3 - 5. See how that works for you.

Re: Any CPU vs CPU "Watchers" Like Me Out There?

Myself also. I play 2 seasons but enjoy (with good sliders) a cpu vs cpu season. This lets me make changes when injury comes up and see how the replacments play...does it hurt the team? Thats fun.

I would just want one thing added to this game next year. Let us control ALL 30 teams! This way we can make the trades, callups and even change a starting player if they suck to make that team more real and competative

Re: Any CPU vs CPU "Watchers" Like Me Out There?

Hey guys, go ahead & give these a try. Feel free to offer any suggestions if you have em.
I like to watch some of the more exciting pitching duals CPU vs CPU , which is why these are geared towards producing very realistic pitching numbers. These should allow for Big K pitchers to get the proper amount of strikeouts. It should also create very accurate hits to runs totals.

DIFFICULTY: ALLSTAR
CAMERA: PITCHER

GLOBAL:
Pitch Speed:5
Fielding errors: 6
Throwing errors: 6
Fielder run speed: 2
Fielder reaction: 10
Fielder arm strength: 3
Baserunner speed: 5
Baserunner steal ability: 5
Baserunner steal Frequency: 5
Wind: 4

CPU & USER
Contact: 1
Power: 5
Timing: 7
Fouls: 5
Solid Hits: 3
Starter Stamina: 6 (allows starters to go a little longer before exhaustion)
Reliever Stamina: 4
Pitcher Control: 6
Pitcher Consistency: 7
Strike Frequency: 3
Manager Hook: 4 (Managers tend to pull their ace off the mound all too often when they've got a shutout going)
Pickoffs: 1

Be sure to leave the CPU comeback option to OFF for best results.
