Has downloading the patch in any way affected cpu v cpu games? If so, how?

GTM - I just watch the game using the pitcher view for both sides.

KingDevin - from what I've seen so far all seems ok..I'm quite happy with what I'm seeing with cpu v cpu...

It's been awhile since my last update, but I've made a few drastic changes for the better. I've also come to the conclusion that the game plays more realistically with CPU Comeback set to ON. What changed my mind was seeing the Dodgers demolish the Padres in a game 16-1.... something I never saw with it off.

These will likely be the final adjustments, as I'm fairly confident that this is the best you can possibly get out of AI vs AI in The Show 09. It's not perfect, but I'd say it's pretty damn good!

What is that?.... never heard of it. Is Real Baseball a 360 exclusive or something because I only own a PS3?

FYI though, I actually play all of my season games. I just like to watch some of my division rivals duke it out in important games, or if theres a good pitching matchup.

But by all means, please tell us more about this Real Baseball.... you've got me intrigued as of now.

Eric, when I'm behind in my one game a day schedule and I have something I need to do I'll put the game on and watch it, but I actually find myself standing in front of the t.v. and staring at it as I go about my chores, lol. Then I get the urge to jump in, so I'll save it and exit most of the time.

My buddy is CPU vs. CPU or MOM. LIke me, he loves doing the daily transactions, keeps him up on things going on in ML baseball. I'll let him know about your settings.
