Timing Window is backwards !!!

As the title suggests we are all tuning the timing window slider in the wrong direction !!! To further enforce the emphasis on timing to hit you must move the slider to the right. I was having the same problems as many of you here with the amount of hits etc. Well I acted on a hunch and through the slider all the way right and i just finished a 14 inning game as boston against oakland where the hits were 9-8 and the score 2-1. I got the idea after I lowered the slider considerably for both cpu an hum. The following game the comp and myself were hit machines like i had never seen. Thought it was a bit odd and the next game I decided to experiment and move it the other way...and presto or so it would appear. You guys wanna test this out too and see what kind of results you get ?

I should also mention I am using Knights rosters with edits and playing on HOF level.

A 1 game test....conclusive evidence then.

One game test conclusive evidence ?? why even respond ?? this is potentially a positive find. Hence the reason I asked everyone who was interested to try it.....more games then one person alone can try with different settings and variables to better determine results.

Besides if you read the original post you would have clearly been able to determine I actually played 2 games....

Re: Timing Window is backwards !!!

Hmm... Just finished a game with the timing window at 20. I was the Marlins going against the CPU as Arizona. Dan Haren was dealing and pitched a complete game shut out against me. I was held to 5 HITS! It's been a while since that has happened, to say the least. The D'backs were able to push across 2 runs on 8 hits. Also, out of my 5 hits, 2 ended up as doubles. Not to be outdone the D'backs had three doubles. I wouldn't read much into that, I just thought it was interesting.

I'm not sold on this yet.. especially since Haren was so dialed in, but I'm definitely going to mess around with this some more.

Re: Timing Window is backwards !!!

You know I thought that this may be the case with the timing slider (not sure that it is that way). I wonder if they're are more sliders that might be backwards as well? The thing about it though, is the sliders have such a small effect no matter what direction you max them, and that makes it hard to tell if they're backwards or not.

Interesting....has anyone tested this. I'm sure no one has had the time to play 20-30 games with this setting but I'm curious on results.

Just finished another one. I was the White Sox with 8 hits, 2 runs and I lost to the Red Sox who had 4 runs on 6 hits.
