Realistic ps2 Sliders

Hey, this is my first post but long time reader. I just want to know does anybody have any realistic sliders for the ps2 version, I'm getting tired of feeling sorry for the cpu at times because i'm getting to many hits and it's taking the fun out of it, I mean I'm hitting the opposing teams ace starter like it's their 5 starter or a spot starter. oh and I play on HOF.. Can Anybody please help me? I acutally want to lose sometimes and get below 10 hits, and some walks..I need help.

Re: Realistic ps2 Sliders

in addition lower your batters

vision to below 10. preferably between 1-6.
discipline between 1-20
clutch below 20.

turn off the strike zone
umps on wide
pitcher location at 0

in addition lower the contact and power between 15-40 clicks.

cpu pitcher speed really has no impact cause you will get used to the timing quicker.

Ive played a full season with with these tweaks and the other basic tweaks. Im pretty much in the middle of the pack with all my stats. Im batting about 270 as a team and have an era of 4.5. In the standings Im on a 7 game losing streak. Ive gone from 1st to 4th and now trail my division by 3 games. wild card by 4.5 with 12 games to go.

if you want Ill post all the sliders when I get a chance.

Yes, If you don't mind, please post the slider, sound good to me, also do you see any errors in your game?..I'm almost at the All-Star break and have zero errors.

yup,
every 6 or 7 games Ill see a couple of errors. I see an occasional dropped pop fly into the outfield, mistimed throws. The most Ive ever seen in 1 game was 3.

The errors may be a bit low, but thats fine by me. Id hate to see errors to the point where it feels scripted.

oh and when I said to lower the contact and power that was for each individual player on your team. this is all based on your preference. I have a method that I use to lower my players abilities. The method allows me to adjust player attributes randomly. i dont pay attention to real life stats. but the numbers work out in line to reality over the long haul.

Do ever see any throwing errors that sail completely over a fielders head? I havent seen one yet. I see the cpu make fielding errors evey once in awhile but I rarely ever make them.

yes, it usually happens when I give the regular starters a day off. when I use my back up short stop Im almost certain to see errors or if I give my regular 1st basemen a day off, Ill most likely see an error.

Also, players with high fielding ratings rarely commit errors. I dont tweak the fielding sliders for the individual players. I feel that I get enough errors.

So you have seen throwing errors that get past the 1st baseman? Because I've tried and I've tried to make this happen but I havent seen it once and I've played alot of games. I feel like the throwing errors are just flat out broken. I have seen outfielders drop balls and I have seen infielders botch some balls, but I have yet to see a true throwing error. I can live with the fact that errors are rare, but I just want to know that every type of error is atleast possible.

yup, but now that I think about it, its very rare. Ive played about 85 games and Ive seen it maybe about 4 times. which isnt bad, because if it happend more Id replace my 1st baseman.

Another thing is it is most likely to happen when who ever is throwing to first has to rush.
