Hey Rod, sliders are working well with Knights updated final roster, did you tweak them at all? or are you still playing with were they are at now ?

How are these sliders? Are they built for ultimate realism?

I dig that CPU pitching speed maxed out, makes hitting a challenge. You have to slow down your game, consider everything going on in the game at that moment ,the "total situation".....the inning, number of outs....men on base, the pitchers "M.O."....it forces you to make educated guesses as to what he might throw in order to time your swing....like facing a real pitcher...and the satisfaction of actually turning on a fastball.....sweet. Nice call R_C. I look forward to seeing the tweaks and what you are using now.

you're right on it....
ain't nothing like facing a over-the-top, dominating starter like Peavey or Lincecum

or

a top notch reliever who's got some real gas in the 9th...or someone who has a deathly slider...

makes me swallow REAL HARD in here sometimes...LOLOL

especially if I am lucky enough to keep fouling off pitches
LOL

Yes! Exactly my thinking also, with the speed cranked up, it completely changes the action on every pitch, the sliders break sharper and faster....and the offspeed stuff can fool ya silly, just turning on a high fastball is a challenge, it does take some getting used to, but thats part of the challenge...I equate it to early season hitting...by the time you have played the spring schedule, you have gotten used to it somewhat and will get better as the season rolls on. I am starting a Franchise tomorrow using these sliders....its gonna be a blast, I love it...thanks much for all the work and research it entailed.

@ Revolution42

you're welcome

and I forgot to add:

that a lot of times with me, the first time around facing those dominating guys I AM somewhat behind the fastball...

with each batter, I'm here trying to gage, to 'cheat' a little by swinging a milisecond earlier....lol

Oh yeah, I'm with ya on that milisecond....some of the real hard throwers, I have to decide if im swinging and initiate the button pressing before they release the pitch....none of that watch the ball rotation to see what they throw.....maxing out that CPU speed alone can make a big diff in my opinion if you want to make it more competitive, especially if you dont just hack at every pitch thrown.
