Is a realistic season possible on All Star default?

I just got the game (late, I know), and I'm hearing a few different things. On one hand I'm hearing that this game is fine on All Star default, but yet I'm seeing so many long slider threads.

I know this is a cliche thread... but can anyone help me out?

With default rosters and default sliders there is no way unless you ignore abnormal stats, guys with insane batting averages, ridiculously high stolen base numbers etc. Now if you used Knights rosters with the edits then you might be able to get through a season of simulation but if you are playing the game then you will be changing the sliders at some point.

So Knight, you don't abide by teh Pitch Control Theory? Everyone seems to play it with +20 because they believe that will draw more walks.

Your never going to get that question answered to your liking, trust me, Ive tried more times then I can remember. In the end Im leaving it at +10 and will suffer through it, I dont want to mess with it and have other areas of the game go completely out of whack.

Now Ive moved on to trying to strikeout the CPU more and that seems like a much easier task to accomplish and then Im done for good with slider adjustments.
