Pitch Movement Slider

Dumb question, probably, but just checking ...

Adjusting the human pitch movement slider will affect the ability of the CPU to make solid contact .... right?

The ball moves more ... harder to hit. That will be part of the effect?

I would love to move it higher than +5 (say, to +10) if I thought I would increase my wildness and walks, and still give up plenty of hits.

However, I fear that going higher than +5 will make the CPU hitting even worse than it already is.

Has anyone tried kicking up Pitch Movement really high, while turning up CPU Contact higher to compensate?

I'm pretty close to Nemesis sliders right now. Slight modifications.

Re: Pitch Movement Slider

Are you using classic or meter pitching?
I haven't checked in a while but I think my pitch movement is at 20 and my pitch control is at 0, this is with classic pitching which I hated at first but like now.

Re: Pitch Movement Slider

Classic pitching on HOF.

Now trying Pitch Control at -10 and Pitch Movement at +10.

I can still get an 0-2 count on most batters without much problem. Which is really, really, really, really unfortunate.

So, now I'm moving up CPU Contact to about +6 so I will be more afraid of the CPU hitting, maybe nibble more and give up some walks that way.

Otherwise, the only time I seem to give up walks is when my pitcher tires (or my pitcher is named Jason Marquis ... he walks plenty).
