Exclamation When The CPU Hits One of Your Batters Every Game...

which slider or combo of sliders should help alleviate this problem?

I'm still tweaking my slider set. I'd say between the two franchises I have...and at about 70 games played combined, I should be where I want to, when I finally relese them. Virtually every game I play---as the Mets or Rays--at least one of my players gets hit.

Any suggestions on what to adjust?

Re: When The CPU Hits One of Your Batters Every Game...

I wondered about this same thing too. I have been beaned 14 times in 31 games so far in my season. I dont think there is a slider adjustment for this. It just seems like I get plunked 3-4 games in a row, and then I dont for a bunch of games. Would hate to be facing those Texas pitchers. Have you been hit more than 18 times in 32 games? Thats alot if you think about it

Wow, that is alot. Hopefully that will even itself out. By the way do you throw at the other team alot? I have noticed that if I hit a player on the other team they usually retaliate, if not in that game they get back at me during the series.

@ The Bimmer

no...I don't throw intentionally at the opposition much....

when i went around both leagues, I'd guess and say that the average times each team is hit is about 9-10

I'm beginning to think the CPU pitcher aggresivess slider has something to do with it....I know last month, someone on this board said that what that slider was SUPPOSED to represent was actually backwards...

anyway, I had mine set to zero (allllll the way to the left), I just set it to default (+10)....

I have mine set at 0 (all the way to the left) and I havent had this problem. I do know this with pitcher aggression above 0 the Cpu just does not pitch to the corners or mix it up enough for me. I use Brounnce's pitching sliders and nemesis's sliders for everything else.

For One Game At Least, No Hit Batters @ The Bimmer

before last night's game vs. The Red Sox, I also moved the CPU Pitch Control from zero (all the way to the left) to default (+10)...no hit batters
