Pitching attribute sliders

Question... Can someone elaborate on whether the + or - sliders for hits, walks, HR, K's etc regarding pitchers means + for more HR/hits per 9 inn or does - mean more HR's per 9inn?

I see that Joba Chamberland has his bars all going toward the + side, yet he does not give up alot of HR's, hits. It leads me to believe that the going to the left side of the slider scale (toward the - side) would mean he gives up more HR's. Can anyone clarify...

Left equals more hr's and stuff and Right equals less.

That is not true

A high BB/9 rating doesnt mean he throws a lot of walks. It means the opposite. Same for H/9.. The higher the setting, the less hits he theoretically would give up

That's what I said. The farther left the more walks hits etc. The more right the less.
