Yep, homerun totals appear just about spot on for me and the CPU, its all about picking the right pitch to swing at.

I dont use guess pitch/strikezone/hotzone, any of those user aids, i consider it cheating, however i realise some people need to use it.

Maybe the first tweak or 2 coming soon chaps.

I think I'm going to give these sliders a go starting today.

How have the walk totals been for both you and the CPU? That's one of the few beefs I have with this game... it seems almost impossible to draw walks, even when facing a pitcher with below-average control.

They seem fine fella.

One thing people fail to realise when saying "i dont get enough walks" is that a lot of it is down to the human himself swinging when he doesnt need to (im not saying you do this) but a lot do, then stupidly wonder why they dont walk more.

I'd say you are half right there. This game makes it a little too difficult to differentiate between a strike and a ball, so most of us take far too many terrible hacks.

But when people are using house rules like "don't swing until strike two" and still don't walk more than two times a game, that indicates a problem.

Can't wait to try out the sliders. Looks like these provide some great variation from game to game, which I love.

Yep, the variation for me is what makes them.

Please try and get at least 10 games in with them if you can mate before starting to analyse them, less than that makes analysis worthless in a game of streaks like Baseball.

If you could put some of your box scores up here as you play that would be great and much appreciated

Absolutely agree. You can't tell anything about a slider set after 1, 2, or even 5 games. There's just too much variation in baseball.

I'll be posting the boxes after each couple of games. Thanks for your work, Psycho.

I have played two great games with these so far. Will be able to get in some more tonight with all the ball games being early this morning.
