hey PsychoBulk, I think I may give these a go. Do you still hit just using timing, or do you use the L stick now? thanks for posting these, I need more doubles! thats my biggest problem right now.

Only timing, and i get amazing hit variation, everywhere on the field.

p.s. pimping, meter, fade off!

Keep testing them chaps and remember, dont draw any conclusions on one game i.e. throwing a no hitter...it wont happen again!

Psycho -

well after my no-hitter I am happy to report that my next game in baltimore with my pitcher jorge de la rosa (who had a 1.89) era before this game, got POUNDED in the first inning. Luke Scott hit a 3 run homer and I was down 5-0 in the first inning. I could never recover losing 9-4.

I like these sliders! I know its 2 games. But I sure like it. Feels right.

Thanks for the answer. Stupid question but Im not in front of my game right now, what does fade off do exactly? Is it so you cant see the ball marker when pitching or it fades once you move the controller? Im used to either on/fade/off for ball marker, but not fade off. Its probably a setting I never paid much attention to this year so that might be it, thanks in advance.

so does not using the L stick = less hits for human, i find with even hq at 0 and vision at 0 i still get more hits than i'd like to see.

Excellent news, exactly what i was hoping you would see dmb.

Like i keep repeating, you CANNOT judge these sliders on 1, 2, 5, 10 games, you need at least 20/30 to be able to truly appreciate the variation they offer over time.

Fades when you take it outside the zone, so you dont know exactly where you are are throwing, just adds a bit of realism for me, i throw lots of walks to the CPU unintentionally, like it should be.

Not really less hits, i find it offers me more hit variation (not more hits per sé) than if i use the left stick as if i do that i find myself constantly trying to yank everything.

I never use left stick placement while hitting and have never had any problems hitting all over the field, if that answers your question.

Hey Psycho
When you are hitting you are just using x with these sliders correct? Are you seeing many homeruns? I've played about 7 games with these sliders I like them a lot. The only thing I've been using the guess pitch feature and I've been killing them with hits but they been darn good games. Just curious

Hi, I am not speaking for Bulk
But I played at least 45 games with these and if you want variety
play guess pitch /location OFF, when pitching I use fade off , classic . DONT MESS AROUND WITH SLIDERS INTIL YOU PLAY 30 GAMES, THESE ARENT LIKE OTHER SLIDERS you need to tweak .
hope this helps
