Okee dokee.

This is an interesting commentary to the "placebo" effect that these sliders can have on people. Kolbe says they don't work, but you think they kinda do. If they ever released a version of The Show that had tons of sliders but ALL of them were disabled and didn't work, I wonder how many months people would spend tweaking and adjusting their sets?

Since baseball is a game of variety and no two games are ever the same, I wonder how anyone can ever consider their sets "perfect".

Interesting... well ok then. It's the voices in your head that are telling you to do this...? Adjusting sliders that have no effect on gameplay?

I read that some sliders don't work. So it shouldn't matter if they get moved or not. Would someone post which ones don't work.

Re: Creating The *** "Perfect" Slider Set ***

Just played a game, O's vs Astros. Won 5-3.

BAL - 5/9/1
HOU - 3/7/1

One thing I did notice that I didn't like was Ramon Hernandez, my catcher beat out a ground ball to first when the pitcher had to cover for the flip. That should never happen. I think the baserunner speed needs adjusted, but other than that, I really like them.

I am toying around with just doing a +3 edit because the CPU was getting extra base hits and dingers at an almost unrealistic rate.
I'm going to give this a whirl as well.

Re: Creating The *** "Perfect" Slider Set ***

Just wanted to post stats from my first game......
Yanks I(me) 8 16 0
Tigers 4 10 2

Wang vs. Verlander

Started out as a pitchers duel until I broke the game open with a 2 run homer to put me up 3-0 in the 3rd. They came right back with 4 in the bottom of the 3rd. I was then able to get a run and 3 run homer in the 7th and an insurance run in the 8th. Overall great game. Will play more to see what other kinds of games I get. By the way I had 1 double (shouldve been at least 2 more if my brain didn't cramp up....lol) and the cpu had 1.
