Hey Knight,

Thank you very much for helping me out with all of these requests. Sorry if I posted too many or anything.

Thanks again,
Patrick

Thanks Jaffith;

I like using these for RTTS(like last year) especially......of course because of the ratings(having the players play to their skills)...but also because of the faces.
It's nice to see a player in the RTTS and then see him playing a game in the MLB if he gets the call up...

patty....no worries....I will be making everyone real anyway....so the suggestions are great. It's just that I am still limited to what the set gives me to work with(until SCEA let's us edit potential! )...

Question;

Jose Lobaton C Tampa Bay Rays.....SCEA's latest has him as a B prospect. I don't have him as a prospect anywhere....did he get some big jump that I don't know about?
Thanks.

Would this information lend you a hand? If not, I tried.

A 24-year-old catcher formerly of the San Diego Padres system. Lobaton will be placed on the 40-man roster, apparently he'll head to Montgomery.

Lobaton did little to inspire in his short major league stint but that shouldn't worry you in the least. He's a switch hitter who spent his entire career in the Padres organization. Finally reaching Triple-A this year he hit .241/.292/.353 in a little under 150 plate appearances. The previous season he hit .259/.338/.422 in Double-A and in 502 High-A plate appearances hit .246/.341/.411. He walks, strikes out, and shows a little pop. B-Ref has his caught stealing rates at 27% and 25% over the last two seasons and Baseball America named him the best defensive catcher in the Padres system two years running.

No idea what, if anything, this means for any of the Rays higher level catchers. Shawn Riggans and John Jaso are currently in Durham and of course Dioner Navarro and Michel Hernandez man the fort in St. Petersburg. Could be simply for depth, could be foreshadowing something else. We'll see.

Thanks again, Knight. I know guys like Steve Susdorf, Matt Cusick, Blake Tekotte, and Mark Sobolewski aren't really mega-prospects, but I followed them in college so it's always neat to see how they do in the pros. And I reeeeally enjoy your rosters, too haha

Re: Knights End of Season Set

Knight, great job on this, I know we all appreciate it and can't wait to use the rosters. It's a big help for me since I've been updating your Full Minors (V3 I believe I was using) regularly throughout the year with all the MLB and MiLB transactions, but fell behind going into the trade deadline and then into August with all the waiver moves and players getting released to free up 40 man spots. Now instead of having to spend hours upon hours of catching up with all that I'm just going to wait for these. Thanks a lot!

Any chance we could see some of these players:
Reid Fronk (TB)
Cody Cipriano (TB)
Alex Cobb (TB)
P.J. Pillitiere (NYY)
Maiko Loyola (Pit)
Koby Clemens (Hou)
John Rodriguez (NYY)
Too bad you can't make a switch-pitcher and throw Pat Venditte in there.

Re: Knights End of Season Set

Padre fan, Lobaton sucks all he has is an arm haha. No idea why SCEA gave him a B. I see no upside at all in him.
