Knights End of Season Set

quick update to everyone waiting on the pitch edits/stamina edits version of knights end of season roster set:

14 teams done, many to go...give me two days next week & i might have this to knight by the weekend to put the finishing touches on it...

stuff included in my update when finished:
- all starting pitchers stamina & pitches to match real-life simulation
- starting pitchers contact/power lowered/fixed (same was done in opening day v5s)
- several other minor random edits to fix some of SCEA's quirkiness in their ratings & 2nd positions (Carlos Delgado is not going to catch a game anytime soon, Wily Taveras - Randy Johnson - Jim Thome - Alex Gonzalez rated too high, Mat Latos, etc. etc. rated too low)
- somebody mentioned augustein's weight with Arizona, I addressed that, however this might be a glitch we'll see next time i look at the roster
- minor improvements and updates to some players equipment when i saw necessary (fixed teams with old and new helmets to match real life)
- Knight will include this, at least i think he will when getting the roster from me: transferring the updates from v2PM of this set to my v2 -

dupe Jack Egbert(White Sox)changed to Brandon Hynick
-fake player Garret Lincoln(White Sox) changed to Taylor Thompson
-Andy Phillips(White Sox) to FA list ...Javier Colina1B(White Sox) created
-Cedric Bowers(PHI) changed to Scott Mathieson
AND FOR YOU PATTMAT(hence the v2PM
-Jason Jennings(TEX) to FA list....Tanner ScheppersP(TEX) created

as well as recent updates needing done:
DET P Booker Brown changed to P Brennan Boesh
PIT's closers addressed (i think knight chose Von Rosenburg and somebody else)
Kendry Morales (ANA) needs to be swapped with a B or A potential free agent along with Homer Bailey (CIN)...I would do this myself knight, but I do not know which fa's have what potential (i'm assuming you know) and you are the expert with faces...do you think you could fit this in?

ok, that's it...look forward to this contribution to os, and can't wait to start my chise!

The pitch edits make a tough opponent.
Someone else on here posted it....but like he said...you SO look forward to facing a 4Seam FB pitcher!...it's like a vacation compared to the other guys.

For the Pirates....if the closer(or someone who will be the closer) is already created.....as a RP...I will change him to CP and create whoever you want. If not...I'll be creating a closer and Moskos.

wow thanks a lot TD....man i was about to start it then i read what you are going to do..so i'll sit patiently you guys are nuts (but in a good roster way you feel me lol) i love it..thanks for the work brotha you and knight going to make a snowy winter weekend heaven lol

I'll do my best to remember what i did when looking over the set before i get it to you knight...all attribute changes are minor, very minor....most of what SCEA did with players and you did were right on the notch however they did have their imperfections...**** i think i have to look at norris hopper (sox cf former red cf) again and scroll down his skills...its random players i think scea just looks over...i don't like to leave anybody out tho!

prolly the weekend of the 13/14 sounds about right...i'll get it to knight hopefully by then and it hopefully will be out depending on his schedule

okay scratch the kendry morales problem - scea changed his potential to an A! but why not homer bailey scea??? ha, the reds....they haven't been crap in years so in a way i don't blame them....

knight couple things while examining my home team's roster...

cf Chris Heisey is a rising prospect, climbed two levels this year in the minors and there was talk about promoting him to the big league club...he needs a B potential instead of a D...

cf Yorman Rodriguez should be a B as well, but I understand you might need the spots for other players...dropping Matt Maloney to a C makes a little more sense. I might change him to a be in my franchise if there is no players left for you to get him to a B as well...

I dropped Taveras numbers down a little to compensate for his A potential (which clearly is a little over-blown if you saw him play this year) do you think he needs to be swapped for a lower potential fake fa player?

basically the only players that i see needing changed out b/c of potential problems are Homer Bailey, Willy Taveras, and Chris Heisey on Cincinnati.
