Great set!! No objections if you use current 70 Orioles from other set in here, but 66 team was sort of the start of their run. Love the 50's and 60's teams like the Reds, Giants, Sox, Braves, etc. Please don't change them! Wait til you try to pitch to Eddie Mathews! LOL.
Aside from the request I already made, here are a few other suggestions for teams I'd like to see in this set.
Brewers - Replace the '82 team with 1979.
Expos - Replace the '80 team with 1979.
Indians - Go with the 1954 team. They won 111 freaking games and went to teh WS! I'm not sure what would make the '65 team a better choice.

Matt,
The 65 team was a personal request from me. Just a fave team of mine as a kid. You are correct, the 54 team was stronger and won more games. I'll leave it up to Knight.
Who where some of the guys on the '65 team? I don't have a big issue with it. I was just trying to find some more 50s teams to add to the mix.
My bigger request isto leave the existing 60s & 70s teams from his Classics roster in this set.

Sam McDowell, Luis Tiant, Leon Wagner, Rocky Colavito, Vic Davallilo, Larry Brown, Gary Bell, Max Alvis, Chuck Hinton...most names only known to a child of the 60's like myself. But some good ballplayers...especially McDowell, Tiant, Wagner, Davalillo, Colavito.
Like the preliminary set, knight! I hope this turns out as nice as your other classic one

I just looked up the '65 team on BaseballReference.com. I'm not a child of the 60s (70s-80s for me), but I do recognize a lot of the players. I'm fine with that team in there. I would still like to see a couple more 50s teams in there though.

I'm just taking a quick break and will start this set Monday.
I'll probably have the first team out Monday night.
Yanks first capa?.....or do you want me to go in "order"?
I will be using the current Classic set as the base...so you will get those teams.
Maybe we should figure on an order to get some nice sets in the process....what do you guys think?

'65...the year of the Knight....well sort of....that's my birth year :-)
Also, I think you should go by division. AL East first, then AL Central, then AL West, NL East, NL Central, NL West. Or what ever order you want...
