Hah...I live in San Diego and SCEA has a headquarters here that does gaming. I'm a Software Engineer and I actually sent my resume to them recently...alas, they never called back

One of these days, if MLB 0* is still out, and they eventually hire me, I'd like to get my hands dirty on this editable interface...as well as my dream of actually allowing rosters to be imported in the middle of a franchise season or even import a franchise season from one game to another....

And one last note....its almost hilarious, but I still don't understand how *some* people still cannot follow what happens after Knight's roster release! I think you (Jim) have explained it over a million times and certain people still don't get it.

Anyway, I'm just waiting now for theaub's edit before I can start. So, CMON theaub! chop chop! heh heh

a few tweaks for the line ups you didn't get to go over...

BAL: Adam Jones has started pretty much the whole year w/ Payton off the bench
Millar moved up in the order vs. lefties (switch w/ R. Hernandez)

BOS: Ellsbury leading off vs. righties?
Snyder to #5 starter so when you call up Beckett, he is starting and Tavarez is LRP

NYY: Abreu hits 3rd
Albaladejo to #5 so when you call up Pettitte, he is starting and Ohlendorf is MRP


TB: Iwamura and Crawford flip flop 1 and 2. Upton hits 4th.

TOR: eckstein, stewart, rios, wells, f. thomas, overbay, hill, scutaro, zaun

CWS: Dye and AJ flip flop

DET: might move I Rod up. They tried a lot of different line ups earlier in the year.
Verlander, Rogers, Bonderman, Robertson, Willis

KC: Bale was 4th starter to start year, Tomko spot starter. Hochevar was called up and is now starting. Bale is now in bullpen and Tomko is 5th starter with Hochevar taking Bale's 4th spot. can probably leave as is.

MIN: Livan, Bonser, Blackburn, Slowey, Baker

ARI: most of the year Byrnes has hit 2, Hudson 3. Conor Jackon 4, Reynolds 5. Snyder started higher but maybe switch him with Drew, but don't have to.

Edgar Gonzalez #5 starter, Petit LRP. Lyon closer, Pena set up man.

COL: Helton has been 3 and Holliday 4 for most of the year.

Redman and Wells flip flop between #5 and LRP

LAD: Andruw Jones has been 7th most of the year, Loney 3rd, Ethier 5th

SD: Greene has hit 6th almost the whole yr but Edmonds has been 5th so can't make that move til he comes off DL

Justin Germano #5..Ledezma LRP

SF: probably the hardest team...Velez or Aurlia 2nd, Winn 3rd, Durham usually hits 5th, Rowand 6th..but they change their line up A LOT, especially w/ no Dave Roberts after the first few games when he went on the DL

Jonathon Sanchez #4, Correia #5

ATL: Jo Jo Reyes started season in rotation..Smoltz started on DL and came off
FLA: Cantu started season on roster..Hermida was on DL
BOS: I guess you can have Sean Casey in instead of Alex Cora. I think they were both in Japan cuz they probably didn't carry all the starting pitchers, but Cora has been out since Apr. 10.
CIN: Cueto was in the rotation. Matt Belisle was on the DL Corey Patterson has been their starting CF since open day. Dusty loves him. Alex Gonzo started the year on the DL. Bray was in minors. Mike Lincoln on starting bullpen. Bako was in, David Ross was on DL or in minors? Its Merker in the starting bullpen, not Stanton
Cubs: Lieber was in bullpen, not Jose Ascanio

there might be more, but those were the main ones I found at first time flipping thru. I can make these changes for those who care, in my batting stance update if you guys want

You guys are still putting out your work using Aubs update or just MKs if you want.

that was a rather long response to my comment/question. Basically you could've just said that RAZR will work on the modified (theaub and my own edits) Opening Day set, which is fine, cuz that works for me, I just didn't know what community wanted more.

sorry to bring this up, but to Jim's defense, he has mentioned this soooooooo many times in the other thread. I don't know how he could've made it any more clearer....

except Ive been working on these edits for a long time, as well as the pitch type edits, and the thread to keep up your own 2008 cpu roster control ON and PMing between Knight, Jim, theaub, RAZR etc etc and it has been going back and forth as to the order they'd be released. I'm not gonna argue about it anymore. All Im trying to do is help and it's just backfiring. I will just grab theaubs edits, put in my battings stances and pitch motion edits and then await RAZR to enter our pitch type edits so I can finally start my franchise. sorry for trying to help

I know this whole thing has gotten complicated with so many great contributors involved, but don't bail on us. I, for one, would love to have a final set with your batting stances and pitchers motions included. With such a frantic push down the wire some egos were bound to get bruised, but hang in there.

dont worry, im still gonna do my edits. Im just gonna do them later than I wouldve liked. I just wanted clarification of which set Jim's edits were going to apply to. Im still gonna take theaubs edits and make my edits and then pass it along to RAZR for pitch type edits

Just wanting to mention again that Kent Mercker, Mike Lincoln and Paul Bako are still not on the Reds roster, even though all 3 made the opening day roster. Oh well looks like I'll have to find someway to create them myself since I doubt anybody wants theaub to wait on MK to create them.

A few notes on the Reds lineup/rotation after a quick look. Cueto and Patterson are currently in the minors, they both started the season in the majors.
