Yep, its bizarre they seem to have gone from an all singing all dancing version of Fukudome to a generic no likeness no commentary version

I think alot of us are in the same boat. I deleted my old rosters, and had just been playing quick games so i could get home today from work, load up the roster, and go to town, and now its either A) play with a semi-complete set B) wait a few days (prolly till next Mon) to have the "real rosters".

Im assuming, of course, that the fix to this issue will take at least a day or two. But nonetheless, you gotta appreciate the fact that they are not only releasing rosters, but working on a fix, its a change for me, im used to other companies customer service.

Don't understand how the same issues from 2006 are still here.

And the bugs in this update are just silly.. won't see a fix till Monday though, everything is the same and the norm, the routine.. since 2006.

I know this game has great things, and we're LUCKY to get weekly updates.. but the bugs in this game that have been for 3 years, why can't they just be fixed?
Wow..had some venting to do didn't ya.

As for your issues, the star players have been called up in everyone of my "test" franchises. It seems that in the month of May, everyone of the star players that starts in the minors gets called up to the major league club.

And as for the "bugs" with the update, they are being looked into and are easily remedied on our end. I have "fixed" the entire National League and am currently working on the AL.

If you dont mind me asking, what "fixes" are being worked on. Is it just the accessories (that sounded pretty ghey)? The likeness aspect of some of the rookies?

ALso, a generic question. Is it true that if a star player (say Beckett) is in the minor league system due to injury, and you manually try to bring him up, that it resets the entire lineup and rotation? Only reason i ask is i was going to manually do this, but if it screws everything up, and they are moved up in a month or so, maybe ill wait. Thanks for the info

I think they're fixing the accessories problem, not any CAP issues with likenesses and such...

Re: April 7th Roster update(the big one)

i am sorry but i cant believe people are this upset with the caps and the equipment. i mean like i said before yes it would be nice to have them but its not a big deal. we should be pleased that they update every monday. sony could be like 2k and just post updates every 4 months or so.

p.s.

to the guy who added the name to the commentary and his face got mess up dont do that, that was a glitch last year. something with the programing. last year if you add a commentary name to an edit when you play the game his head will be all white like a doll kinda. so to people that adding commentary names to this rookies and stuff dont do it.

the "fixes" that are being worked on are for the "missing accessories" only, at least that is what I am thinking. I doubt that they are working on player faces. Now its not to say that a CAP player that was added in today's update won't in a future update, have his picture added.

And yes, if you bring up a star player from the minors to the majors, it can(and has sometimes) throw the lineups/rotations out of whack. I just let the cpu call them up in May in my franchises and I do the same for my team.
