How do you get it to work.

I know its either clicking the R stick or the L stick, whichever one it is you click it once to talk then click it again to stop, kinda like a walkie-talkie.... but even then I could never get it to work..I dont get why its set up like that seeing as either clicking whichever one it is, is part of the game. Clicking the L stick shows you if you were late swinging and your locationg and all that........Dont get why they couldnt do it like xbox live does and just have it on soon as the team select screen comes up after you accept the challenge
