Haven't a clue

Want to try on line play, but haven't a clue.

Is there a FAQ or something, because I can't figure this out. One person said go to Sportsconnect?? Where is this? I open the internet browser and it opens up the PS page, I see on-line gaming, click on that and find the game, but haven't a clue how to get started.
I've already been prompted to update, which I did.

I'd appreciate a step-by-step.

thanks

-Start the ps3 up and insert the show.

-After the title screen highlight Sports Connect.

-If it is the first time it will ask you a password for your account. Make sure you insert one and remember it!

-It will then ask you if you want to save updated online rosters for later. Choose yes or no.

-You will see another screen that has different categories, play ball, manage lists, player card etc.

-If you choose play ball, you will have 2 options: Play now or Game rooms. Play now automatically links you to a game and game room shows you different rooms with skill levels and options.

-The best thing to do is to go to manage your buddy list and get the psn name of the people you want to play and put them in. They will show up as either: offline, playing or available. You can challenge people right from your buddy list.

That should be enough to get you going. Let me know!!

Re: Haven't a clue

Got on line and played first game ever. Trailing 4-0 after two I came back to tie the game in the 9th 5-5. Struck out the side in the top of the 10th of the other game and he "QUIT".

Game a little laggy with the swings, but not bad, not bad at all.

I'm jim416 (duh) if anyone sees me on line.

ZJ...you should be able to create a new user when you turn on your PS3, all the way to the left you will see a "Create new user" that should do the trick, or you could "restore PS3 system" under the "system settings".

Hope this helps

I believe so, but you can always save your data on a flashdrive and then load the games again after you reset the system...then load the info from the flashdrive....

a little bit of work, but at least the system will feel like it's your's.
