Anybody starting an Online league soon?

I was wondering if anybody was starting an online league soon. I'm a very casual poster...but play alot of The Show. I post at another forum...but only like 3 of us have The Show (small forum).

If anybody is starting up a league soon...I'm game! I don't even care what team I use (would prefer Tigers though).

I would also love to join a league - All-Star or Hall of Fame with Guess Pitch Off. My PSN is Phoenixmgs. I've played over 175 games and have a 4 star rating, so I don't do any of that cheating crap.

I just updated my profile and am planning on getting some online action going tomorrow. I've just been playing my RTTS guy.

I'd like to get in some games. Played my first one tonight and the guy quit on me 5-5 after 9.

Questions about etiquette.

Does the player in the field usually hit "X" to advance some of the cut scenes, batter walkups, etc. or do you just let all the scenes play out.

Also, when I was pitching I saw that ball fade was on. As I don't know how these things are setup did the other gamer see this? Or is this just for the guy who is pitching and the other player can't see it? Just curious.

I'd be interested in joining a 30-team league with 1 or 2 games played a week.

I'd prefer to be a part of the league rather than manage one, but if no-one else is up for hosting and managing a league I'd be happy to take control.

First things first though; we do need players. So far I see 3 people here that want a league, making me the 4th.

Anyone else?

I could be up for a league...I just got a PS3 and MLB 08 for it, so I don't have any online rankings yet, but I'm no scab who quits after an inning. Haven't played this version much, but played the last 2 years versions on PS2 extensively. I think my online ID is HellBass999

I'm willing to manage the league I suppose? So who wants in for sure...and we'll discuss settings. Give each other a few days to get used to the settings...then say start the Short League next weekend?

I'm in and I claim the Tigers (Homegrown Michigan fan transplanted in PA right now).

I also think there is a "games played online" limit before you can create a league (like you must play 10 games or so online before you can make a league)
