Online play

I just purchased a PS3 and The Show. Can someone tell me how the online play is. I want to join a league but, if there is a ton of lag I wont.

Ive been playing MLB 2K8 on the 360 after patch and it is terrible. You have to swing before the pitcher evern throws the ball. Im hoping The Show has better onling play.

For the most part, lag isn't an issue for me. When the game first came out it was pretty dreadful, but now there is hardly any lag that hinders your play. Every now and then a bad night of lag does pop up. You definitely do have time to adjust to a pitch coming at you though.

Thanks, I dont know if you can help me but, do you know if it is better than MLB 2k8 online gameplay?

Okay, that may be over doing it, but it blows 2K8 out of the water in online performance, trust me !!!

Well for me, I just avoid online play.

Too much lag, possibly on my weak connection. The ball just disappears after leaving the pitcher's hands and doesn't reappear until it's been taken for a strike.

Might load up for some online play again, maybe it was a bad day for lag when I first played.
