How do you delete an Online league?

I forgot to make a few changes to the game and activated my league. Now it won't let me abandon it or create a new one. What was Sony thinking with this? Anybody know a way around this?

As commish there is an option to abandon a league.

I understand that...but after the league has been activated you can't abandon.
