Long shot picks submitted personally I think someone is going to have to take this win from the 88 or the 48.

Well, I hope your right.. I was surprised Jr. fell to me with the 6th pick. You never know though because of the new tire combo.

Dang how about that both the 88 and 48 are starting from the back tomorrow both in backup cars.

Yes, but if there are two cars strong enough to come from the back and win it would be the 88 or 48..had Stewart not been available I would have taken the 88..he will be a car to watch Sunday.

Re: OSFC-Pure Michigan 400

I got to say I can't agree with Joe Gibbs allowing Kyle Busch to completely skip all track time at Michigan today or Kyle deciding to skip today and putting David Reutimann behind the wheel to practice the car so Kyle can go Montreal and race the Nationwide race while he is a tight battle for the wild card. That just does not seem to be in the best interest of Kyle or the entire 18 crew and Joe Gibbs racing. I know Kyle has an obligation to his sponsors of his Nationwide car but with the points being this close you have to decide whats best for you and there are plenty of good drivers out there that he could have put in the car this weekend.

Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick both gave up racing Nationwide when the series was racing different venues or gave it up completely to concentrate on a Cup Championship, Kevin Harvick even sold his company to concentrate more on the Cup side of things, and I think Kyle should do the same thing. Just my opinion but it sounded like Larry McReynolds Kyle Petty and a number of other people shared the same sentiment. What would you guy do if you were in this position?

Re: OSFC-Pure Michigan 400

Simple: Hire someone for the weekend and focus on my Cup ride. It was a slap in the face to Gibbs IMO..may not mean much tomorrow, but you gotta have your priorities in place. He needs to be focusing on getting the 18 into the Chase, not trying to pick up a win in his Nationwide car. I hear Jason Leffler is available maybe he could have ran today . I kid, I kid.

Wow very unfortunate wreck for Mark Martin such a dominant car. But he should be counting his blessing 2 foot forward and he could have sustained severe injuries.
