I just dug my old MCM2 disc's out of the closet. I have 407 saved user created tracks. I'm going to fire up the old PC I used to play the game on and see if everything still works.

LOL. I'm so behind in technology. I just hooked up my 360 with an HDMI instead of the HD Component cable. It does looks crisper.

And here is probably a dumb question but might as well ask. I play on a Vizio HDMI 1080[ LCD. My 360 was actually set to 720p, I believe. (Told you I'm behind!)

So what is the optimal setting for me to change the 360's visual settings to? 1080p? 1080i?

Sorry for the newbie technology question guys but might as well ask and get the most out of my equipment.

I finally picked up a TV that will display 1080p a few months ago. I then changed my 360 settings from 720p to 1080p.

Cool, that's what I did. Sounds right. What is 1080i then?

Well it looks like Stewie's move to yellow paid off yesterday big time.

Roczen had a heck of a battle in the first 250 moto as well...that race was one for the ages.

Yep, as a Roczen fan I was bummed he led up till the last lap but overall I'm very pleased he could podium his first overall National. Baggett was on rails!

And yeah, it is good to have JS7 back in form. He looked excellent on the Yoshimura #7 machine. Also a great ride for Alessi on the Motocroncepts Suzuki for 3rd overall.

Track looked beautiful. Overall, an excellent start to the outdoor season. Can't wait till Freestone next week and I've already got my Budd's Creek Tickets and RacerX all day pit pass!

As a side note....There was some dlc released for this game last week.

Just some freestyle stuff...clothing/etc.

The dlc on the PS3 will not show up do to the game not being out in our region.

Just an fyi.

Since I have it on 360 I'm actually hoping there isn't much in the way of dlc unless the game comnes to the States.

I am. I'm doing a bunch of quick races lately. Bouncing around to a bunch of different tracks. Trying to find my favorite.

Re: FINALLY...a new Motocross game! MUD FIM Motocross World Championship!

I miss the physics of Alive but the tracks in MUD are so much more realistic.

I actually went back thru my MX game collection last night to see how they all hold up and play.

EA Supercross 2000- N64/PSX- I have both. The N64 one looks way better with the expansion pak. STILL, one of the best MX games ever. A full points series, heats, lcqs, 20 lap mains, replica tracks, very realistic physics for the time which had quite a learning curve. And Art Eckman and David Bailey on commentary too. Looks like a TV broadcast which I love.

EA Supercross 2001-PSX- replica tracks but whereas the original game from EA was very sim-like this one went way arcade...and thus isn't very good at all. But at least the speeds are reasonable.

Supercross Circuit-PSX-cool game but way too fast to me for me to enjoy and the camera is too close.

Carmichael Championship Motocross-PSX- great game but the fake tracks hurt

Carmichael Championship 2001-PSX-real tracks and points series but gameplay not as good as original

MX2002 with RC4-PS2-still one of the best MX games ever with great replica outdoor tracks. Full race replays!!!

MX Superfly-PS2-looks better than MX2002 but doesn't feel as good. Still these two games are at the tops because you HAVE to use the brakes!! That and beautifully rendered REPLICA tracks again! Love the Davey Coms race intros.

MTX Mototrax-PS2-great game but in my opinion it is too fast. Cool career mode though.

MX Reflex- love the reflex stick but the game has no weight to it. And the National tracks suck like all the MVA tracks do. Too many jumps.Scaling way off as well.

MX Alive-finally some weight to the physics engine and more realistic scaling. So much potential here with the JS7 compound which is awesome but worthless jumpfest Nationals and the cancellation of SX killed it.

MUD- physics are too arcade but a real points series, official license and competitive AI make it one of the best, to me.

So my favorites are still the ancient but awesome Supercross 2000 by EA, MUD, MX2002 and Superfly and Alive. Alive makes because of the JS7 stuff cause otherwise the game is weak. Reflex has better SX tracks but the game just has no weight to it. I play these along with MX Simulator which is beautofully realistic but also a pain sometims.

I wish there was an updated EA Supercross. Sigh.
