Both rooms will be called Operation Sports-Charlotte/Operation Sports-Iowa. We are using the fixed set-up for both. Password will be the same(OSDRIVER)

1st race Charlotte-Nationwide(60 laps)
Practice 830CDT
Race 9:30CDT

2nd Race Iowa-Nationwide(75 laps)
Practice 10:15CDT(approx)
Race 11:00 CDT

Any questions, just ask in here or shoot me a PM.

I am actually going to open the room at 7:00pm CDT, just in case people want to jump in early and test out the set-up. I have it already pre-set to start at 7pm, but don't rush to get in there.....but it's open if you want it.
Sounds good. I'm in for Charlotte but Iowa is going to be too late for me since I am on the East Coast. I have an early morning soccer event to attend.

Very good racing tonight, guys. No yellows on 75 lapper! Not too shabby.

Nice race guys, and impressive. Like Run said, 70 laps a not single incident or caution. I want to build this thing up to where qwe have 15-20 guys, but I also want to make sure its guys like that are in this group.

Sorry for not wanting to run Iowa, but that just wore me out. Good racing guys.

EDIT: Nevermind, found them.

My first iRace and I just wanted to avoid wrecking others including myself. I got loose once heading down to pit and a few times I touched the wall just trying to get out of everyone's way. It was very fun so thanks for having me. I hope to be more competitive once I get more seat time.

Meant to post this last night but forgot. He's a replay of my fast lap in practice from last night. I have no clue how fast it is compared to the really quick guys, but I thought some of you might want to see it.

Being a rookie, I am wondering if you had to adjust anything such as tire pressure or other minor settings within the fixed setup?

I just can't seem to mimic how you are sticking the corners as that is where I lose it or start to slip. For someone who was 3 laps down and not even close to being competitive, do you have any advice other than to keep driving lol?

Re: OS iRacing Hosted session(Indy and Iowa)

Well I think I just answered my own question as I now see that we were able to change some of the settings though they were fixed. For some reason, I was under the impression everyone had the same exact setup. Not the case as from a few adjustments, I am already turning better lap times at Charlotte. Chalk it up to me being new and not understanding.

To be honest, no, not really. Just practice, practice, practice.

They key with that combo, in my opinion anyways, is to get off the gas, let the front tires start to grip and aim the car towards the white line, then get back on the gas as soon as you can. The throttle helps the car turn, as does getting it down the white line.

If you want to post a replay, I'll look it over and try to give you some tips. I'll warn you though, I'm not the greatest with helping people on ovals.

We can't change anything but the steering ratio in a fixed race. If we were able to change anything during that session, I didn't do so because I didn't even look in the garage. There was no setup changing going on on my end.
