What was with the wheel not moving at all when in the corners, while in the cockpit view.

Guys, this is a piece put together by the developer. Its was edited, cut, and put back together off an earlier build of the game. So don't tke everything for face value in the video.......

i really like the meter at the bottom showing ur car in relation to the car immediately in front or behind, seems like this will cut down on excessive slamming into cars that seemed to happen in past nascar games, or maybe that was just my driving.

Looking real good. Like the shot of the drivers from inside the car.

Only wish the commentary didn't stop after the race intro.

I could do without the contrails coming off
the cars in front of Montoya. Gonna take a wait and see approach. I don't want an overly arcade experience.

My guess is that all of that can be turned off so that the gameplay screen isn't "busy".

As for commentary, I really don't want it during the race, outside of maybe cautions, pre-race, and post race. During the race, I like to hear the crew chief as well as spotter.

Hoping the interaction with those 2 is more abundant in the final game vs what it was in this short "demo" clip.

This game is so refreshing. So many racing sims are made in an almost clinical way, whereby the level of car detail is intricately represented. However these games fail to deliver the raceday experience.
Nascar 2011 seems to be adding some much needed atmosphere.

Liking the leaderboard ticker across the top & the track monitor at the bottom. The only thing I thought was a bit naff is the draft meter. If the physics of the game are good enough you will be able to judge when you are ready to take the slingshot. Hopefully the meter can be switched off.

This is actually looking pretty sweet. I see a lot of potential depth in this game.
