iRacing

Anyone here interested in it, or planning on picking it up on release?

Personally I can't wait. I know some people don't like the pricing, but I really like how they are doing things.

Re: iRacing

I interested, but I don't think my comp can run it well, so I'm not going to pay money for a game my computer can't run well.

Re: iRacing

Negative.

First, I doubt my rig can run it properly. Two, paying a monthly subscription fee for a game that can't be modded?

Nope.

Take care,
PK

Yeah i agree. I bought rfactor to run the mods, i bought ARCA to run league races, and im going to pay for iracing so i can run open races that have a consequence for idiots being idiots.

Plus the fact that people will have to work their way up to the big better cars will be fun.

We wont all be NASCAR racers, which is a good thing, maybe some of these people racing in the open servers will learn how to drive.

Yeah, but then you won't be able to put Kenny in the wall.

Yup, but that is why we have these other games. I got him good in rfactor a couple weeks ago.

Probably never would be in a race with him anyways if he is ranked way above me.

this is the only problem that i really have with the iracing deal is that i wont beable to run against my friends and the people i know...in races and other things like that...this is probably one of my top reasons i race online is to race with some people i know but either way i will still be getting it and cant wait too.

I'm with you PK, they are not getting my $$$. From what I hear, there is a split on how well is going to be. That's what I've been reading anyway.

And from doing my own research and seeing one of their reps in Simracingtonight.com, it looks like it is going to be like those MMO subscrption service deals...no thanks! I'll keep my rFactor and Live for Speed, GTR2 and ARCA which I just purchase and waiting for by the way which is free on line and lots of fun.

All I know is that Iracing better be good or the big bad Boston Red Sox owner will be pretty mad in his investment!!..lol

peace
Ernesto
