That's who I really want. Bouwmeester would be alright I guess.

No one really knows how much money the Predators have outside of the ownership group themselves.

The Predators have kept their financial records closed to the public from the day they came to town.

Gary Bettman is probably secretly fronting them the money. Nashville, Phoenix, Florida, Atlan...well not them...will succeed in those markets!

If Nashville didn't keep Webber it would have set that franchise back a few years. Nashville fans always seem to support that team so I think it would've been pretty sad.

So, a few days later, I don't hate the trade. Still think the Jackets should have gotten more, but alas, here we are.

A Foligno-Ansimov-Dubinsky line is an awesome idea, though.

From TSN:
Quote:
Restricted free agent forward Evander Kane appears to be inching closer to a deal with the Winnipeg Jets.

According to Winnipeg Free Press writer and TSN Radio 1290 host Gary Lawless, negotiations between the Kane camp and the Jets have gained momentum, with Kane considering the a six-year deal from the club that would be worth around $29 million.

Colin Wilson was a healthy scratch for 6 of the Predators' 10 playoff games.

Sergei Kostitsyn was a -3 with only 2 points in 10 playoff games, ending the Phoenix series on Nashville's fourth line.
I'm a big fan of Wilson's though.
He was on pace to surpass all of his previous totals and I think he's on the cusp of being a legit #1 centre.
He's still young and I think his ceiling is a high one.

Alex Semin to the Hurricanes for one year, 7M.

Semin-Staal-Staal looks promising.
