go pick up a copy of OXM, they rated ESPN higher

then theres gmr that rated them the same but said espn is true sim and nhl is a high speed check fest
i didnt know that game informer had the final say in all video games

Listen you whiner....... since when do you decide on which review counts......... last I heard: Game Informer magazine was still reviewing video games. AS for oxm mag, there just mad because there is no online support for X-box live, thats my opinion.

nhl is a very fun ARCADE game, it should compete well with Hitz
hopefully Rivals can compete well with ESPN for best hockey sim

It seems not all reviews are swinging in espn2k4 corner, at least except that. I know that some reviews will show espn rules but not all. Stop trying to change the fact that espn game recieved a lower rating,and except it.

Scores? Your post is proof that reviews are only used to back up people's own views of the game, nothing more. You fail to quote the two publications that rated ESPN higher, but post info on the one that does You are not at fault because everyone does this.

Scores? Your post is proof that reviews are only used to back up people's own views of the game, nothing more. You fail to quote the two publications that rated ESPN higher, but post info on the one that does You are not at fault because everyone does this.

Sorry! The other two publications were psm&gamepro magazine.Hows that for honesty!!

I thought the new Xbox magazine espn-8.9 ea-8.6, and EGM espn-8.5, 9, 9 and EA 6.5,8.5, 7 were the other publications? Well if gamepro and psm also gave espn higher scores as you've said that's 4-1 espn. Scores are not detrimental to my purchase, but I am happy that you have finally received some good news in regards to your title of choice.

Well EGM did rate espn higher by a hair,as compared to ea 2004. 8.6&8.9 respectfully, but that's pretty close!! I would say they are pretty even there. A .3 higher is not much higher, but it is!!
