No doubt the ceremony gave them some energy.

Yeah they looked good, but the Sharks play like crap in their own zone. So we shall see what the Col can do this year.

I will say one thing if Joe's line can get it going. His and Marleau's line are going to be scary. Also, Benn Ferriero is going to be a great player in my opinion. I love his energy.

All that matters is that they beat the Sharks after getting swept last year

LOL at the Penguin announcers alluding to the fact that this was Crosby's first NHL game action since game 7 of the SC "except for preseason games of course".

Greatest. And that's Razor to you.

Flyers looked pretty damn hot tonight. Great D, positionally sound goalie, lots of depth. I likes.

Philly looked good tonight. They are going to be special this year and I think Emery is going to be a solid goaltender for them. He's going to want to prove that he's not the cancer he was in Ottawa.

Well...if you believe the rumours anyway. I don't know if Heatley was a cancer, but Emery for sure was in the news due to concerns about him in the locker room.

TBH though, I think there's more to what went wrong in Ottawa than Emery ad Heater

I agree. I will say one thing I think this cancer stuff is really off base. I am sure there are lot of players that don't get a long in everyone in the locker room. And then when a team is losing then they talk about the cancer in the locker room.
