I saw a bit of the Flames game and WOW Love those old school unis, anyways Luongo sure looks like the guy from the playoffs rather then the star goalie that he usually is.

I have to eat some crow about Toskala last night but still he didn't make any truly amazing save that shows he's a top flight goalie. The Leafs played real hard but man does their PK stink.

After the 4th goal, he settled down (Luongo). I don't worry about him - he will be better tomorrow night and he just had a bad period and a half like the entire Canucks team

Boy, Osgood looked awful today.

On the other hand, both St Louis and, IMO, Chicago looked good as well. Gonna be a tough year for the Central.

Great game with the Blues. I know we lost but it was highly entertaining.
Leino's goal was nice as were both of Kariya's. I have a feeling P.K.'s going to have a big year.

Fla-Chi was a fun game to watch too. Kane's goal was sick as was Toews SO goal.
And Booth? What a shot!

Some good games today. Watching the Philly and Canes. Dan C. is going to take some dumb *** penalties.

Yep, I was extremely impressed with Duchene.

The Av's looked very good, but I also remember them looking great the first couple games last year and we all know how that worked out

Yeah they have really came out working last night. I know that Joe thing would be a big momentum builder.

I thought they looked really sloppy (over anxious) in the first 5 minutes or so (despite scoring) but really picked it up after that.

No doubt the ceremony gave them some energy.
