I haven't attended a single Canucks game this year and I'm not sure I'm going to. Why would I want to spend $100 (ticket/parking/gas/food) when I can watch at home with my big HDTV/don't have to line-up for washrooms/can pause the game if I'm busy/food is cheaper/don't have to spend money on parking,gas/save time by not having to drive/have a better view at home,etc....
Oh, I agree. I only go to 1-3 Canucks games a year myself. The point is, tickets cost an arm and a leg and the Canucks have sold out 268 consecutive games regardless. A team with a winning record should NEVER be playing to under 80% of capacity.

I've been to several Jackets games and haven't spent more than $20 for a ticket. Sure they're the worst seats in Nationwide, but its still a fun time. CBJ usually draw pretty well.

They are hosting the Hawks tonight and the attendance is pathetic.

I'm baffled at was else the Avalanche have to do to get fans in the building.

It's kinda sad that the Leafs get their 2nd win against a team shockingly WORSE then them.

I wonder if the Leafs will break the record for most loser points in a season though.

They hardly looked like the better 'team.' Monster was the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight and stole the game.

The guy is legit, but the sheer amount of athleticism demanded of him to make a lot of the stops on the chances the Leafs are giving up has me worried that he'll be burnt out by Christmas. He's got to work on his puck control and rebound control some, but he's a special talent and superior to many starting NHL goaltenders.

WOO LEAFS BEAT THE WINGS!

Though as BP stated Gustavvson is seeing a ton of rubber. Hopefully they can tighten up the defense a bit or he's gonna be one sore goalie by the end of the year.

Caps put up 5 goals in the third tonight to beat Florida 7-4. 2006 6th round pick Mathieu Perrault scored his first NHL goal and continued his awesome NHL debut (has like 1 goal, 3 assists, +5 in three games on the fourth line).

Wow what a game for Joe Pavelski. First game back and has goal and assist. Great game all together. Pens looked tired. LA must have taken a lot out of them. Sid is so great! He made so many thing almost happen, but Nabby played great tonight. The Sharks are starting to get their game going. 5 goals from 5 different players.

Re: The 2009-10 NHL Regular Season

Time for my daily 'Monster is phenomenal' comment. Gustavsson for the Calder.

Also, I agree with what was being said about watching the game from home being a more enjoyable experience. I've been to a couple Leafs games this year. Yes, NHL hockey live is great (even if the team sucks), but it seems like every second someone is getting up to go to the bathroom or to the concessions. Also, with two minutes left to go in any period, the fans at the ACC make a mass exodus towards the concourse.

It's amazing how much of the game I end up having to watch while standing with people filing past me. Not only that, but I'm baffled at the numbet of people that miss half a period only to come back with a slice of pizza. I mean seriously, can't you wait until the game is over and just go get a more modestly priced slice of Pizza Pizza...er pizza.

Did I read that right. A.O. is going to be out for 3 to 4 weeks?
