Well, Ray Emery certainly making an early statement. Looked like he was going to shut out the Devils tonight, but that's a tall order. Still very impressive.

Mods: we need a seperate official team thread section.

Minnesota is easily the most boring team to have your favorite team play against.

Still, 2-1 win for the Jackets. I'll take it, despite a pretty boring overall game.

Well it was certainly nice to watch the Bruins dominate Carolina tonight, they skated much better, forechecked much better and out worked the Hurricaines to most of the 50/50 puck battles in a very convincing 7-2 drubbing. Looked like a completely different team from the one vs the Caps the other night. Course watching Lucic bust someone open is always a plus too.

Great first period for my Sharks! Marleau and Joe with goals. And Benn F. with his first goal in the NHL. I love that kid. And Heatley with a nice pass to Joe for the goal. I think Marleau is going to have a big year!

Heatley with another good pass to Set for the goal. I like what I am seeing.

The TB Lightning look like...well, last year's Lightning...

and a nice start for the Blue Jackets. Still need to work on that PP, but they look solid and should make the playoffs if Mason doesn't fall prey to the Soph. jinx...
