Tomorrow

Tomorrow fellas, it all begins. Tomorrow, we find out if all of our team's offseason (well at least 2 )moves paid off. Tomorrow, a marathon of 82 games will start in what will be one of the most grueling tests in all of sports that leads to one of the most prized treasures in all of sports, Lord Stanley's Cup.

Let the games begin and heres to hoping for great season for all of our teams.

Re: Tomorrow

Actually I hope my team has one of the worst seasons in franchise history then again, knowing the Leafs they'll hang around and barely miss the playoffs AGAIN!

Just look what I´ve got

I will trade those two badges in for two real tickets. The Stockholm Globe Arena has been sold out since early june. It will be about 14 000 spectators to see the game there. It is normally 13 850 spectators of max capacity when its icehockey in the arena. But consider that the NHL-rink is much smaller, I think they will broke the 14 000 spectator barrier.

Here is a picture of the arena from inside...

And here is the arena from outside, in daylight

Re: Tomorrow

Are these games even on tv in the U.S.? I saw on my Center Ice this morning that they don't start showing games until the 9th. Damn, the hockey coverage in this country is awful.

I think they should be. The game here in the Globe Arena has an approx first face off at 20:33 local time, which means 2:33 PM ET. The official starting time is 20:30 local time but I heard that due to TV broadcasting in North America it will be about 20:33.

Due to nhl.com is the game broadcasted at
RIS,CBC (HD),NHLN-US,FSN-P (HD) channels. The game on sunday at the same time and venue is also broadcasted at the Versus channel.

Thanks, at least that helps me know I can watch the game tomorrow. My crappy cable provider is showing today's games on NHL Network which I apparently don't have and am not paying for. Oh well, at least there are "other" places to watch the games.

Love to visit the Globe someday. What kind of prices are they getting for the Sens/Pens tickets there?

I think you can rest easy. Did you see those Leafs/Blues highlights the other night? Rec teams play better D than the Leafs.

Yep, and it's not even a joke to say that Luke Schenn is their best defenseman.
