Re: The SHARKS TANK!

This thread is pretty much Scott talking to himself, lol.

So will the Sharks finally be the Cup finalist team everyones expected for the last 4 or so years Scott? Hows the team look under McLellan instead of Wilson?

They look great right now. They are out shooting teams by a lot and they are finally playing great d. They held Pitt to just 10 shots on goal last night. Marleau has taken it to the next level. Todd has this team believing in his system. This is a different team if you ask me. You can tell on the ice. And I love talking to myself. No one to argrue with is great! Wilson system was not right for this team. We have too much talent to play it safe all the time.

I HATE it! Stupid Jumbo Joe is on pace for 65 points. Not exactly what I want to see from a guy I spent $10.10 on! (with a $25 cap!)

I remember hearing how McClellan has moved Joe from the hashmarks on the PP to get him more involved in the more physical parts of the game.
That doesn't translate well for Joe. He's surprisingly soft for a man his size, and he's basically a PP specialist since he seems to generate a lot less offense 5-on-5. So when they start mucking up with his bread-and-butter, it's going to reduce his points.

I won't be surprised if Marleau ends up with more points than J.T. And that ticks me off!

At least I got Nabakov. He's been great. Although, would it kill him if he got a SO now and then????

I don't know much about hockey, but one thing I do know is by the end of the season Joe will be in the top of the league in points. You can pen that in. He hasn't been to soft this year. He is killing people down low and finishing his check. He is playing every part of the game. And really dominating the game too.

Another win. This team is playing great Off. but they need to play better D in their zone. Well a win is a win. And good teams find ways to win games when they aren't playing great D. So I will take it. Set has arrive, he is now a Star and so is Michalek.

Sweet, I'll probably be going soon too. I really like the way the team is playing. This is how Ron should have been playing with this team. They have too much talent to play safe.

I think he'll be at or around 95 points myself.
It seems he's starting to click better with Marleau and Setaguchi so I'm hoping the points come with that. He got 2 assists last night. Hopefully that's a great sign of things to come.
