OS Yahoo Fantasy League

Anyone interested in a league on there for OS bragging rights?

I'd be willing to set it up. OFcoarse we'd have to have a live draft on there sometime for sure?

We can do H2H or just total points. I think H2H is more fun as then anyone could beat someone else any givien week.

Ok we have two so far.

Let's get at least 8 guys total.

10 or 12 team league would be ideal!

I would be interested depending on what day the draft is. I hate ranking picks and much prefer to draft live. I work nights though.

Well depending on interest we can figure out dates and times to have a live draft....lets see if we can get 12 guys in here before I create it on yahoo.

Ranking your guys wouldn't totally kill you but yeah live drafts are way more fun!

We need to get this going soon, however, as the first games are this coming weekend.

Yeah i know the season is apporaching but if we miss the first week its no biggy. I do believe this weekend its the games in Sweden... the real season doesn't start up until Oct 9th.

They gave the teams that had to go overseas a few days back to get over the travel and jet lag.

So ideally if we draft that weekend or this one we would be good.

i would be interested in this. I have never done a hockey league before, so I don't know how good I'll do.

It's all in good fun. Its like any other pool.

Much like NFL H2H Pools where you start a bunch of guys for the week and most points win.

Just alot more weeks and more games for hockey plus you have a minimum amout of starts you need each week for your goaltending.

Any suggestions fellas on how many players each roster should carry and how many goalies we will need active each week?

We could make the roster sizes small and basically have it so you start two lines worth or players each week with one goalie needed being active...have a limited bench of say 5 players plus a backup goalie. That would keep trades and the waiver wire active.

So that would then be 2lines...

2 C's, 2 LW's, 2 RW's 2 D, 2 Goalies

Plus 5 bench players however you want.

15 player teams...I'll have to check but yahoo may need it to be 16.

Any thoughts?
