I got Patrick Kane's auto -- scrimmage in my town today!

The Blackhawks came to Rockford to have a scrimmage and practice today. It was very cool to get to see Kane, Toews, Campbell, etc. here in my town. I did not renew my IceHogs season tickets, but this is one thing I couldn't miss.

Besides, it's scouting for the 12/26 game vs. the Flyers that I will be going to.

I stood in line to try and get Toews' autograph but just missed him, but luckily I was then only 20 people deep in line for the next batch of players which included Patrick Kane!

He was cool, but I was surprised just how small he is! I got his black and white team-issued photo autographed, and also got him to sign the recent issue of The Hockey News with him on the cover (Cam Barker is the player sitting next to him):

Very nice, getting his autograph.

I have Wade Redden's autograph on his Rangers jersey, was the first Rangers jersey he had signed to.

He is just a kid, he should grow a little more or at least put weight on.
