Sorry but Toronto is "God's Team in the NHL" I thought everyone knew that

This sure does lend credence to Tony Gallagher's recent column

Oh my God. First Ottawa, then New York, and now Vancouver, a team we didn't even face?? Give it a rest guys (not to you OS guys, just the reporters writing this junk), we know that the officiating was bad for both sides, not just for Detroit or Pittsburgh. It seems that every single article written about this subject singles out Pittsburgh. How about they single out the refereeing that was horrible in the earlier games of the series, the calls that never went Pittsburgh's way?

The "state champions" label is nothing new for the NHL. The Sabres actually sold "New York State Champion" merchandise after the playoffs ended (because the Sabres defeated both the Islanders and Rangers in last year's playoffs). It was pretty crappy if you ask me, but it sure was therapeutic for me to see the words "Buffalo" and "Champions" on a t-shirt!
